About this mod

This mod not only gives radiation suits a greater rad resistance, it also makes that value dependent on the condition of the suit. Just like you would expect, if

the suit was torn to shreds it would be useless, but if it was brand new it would stop almost all the radiation.

Introduction:

It's always been a disappointment that radiation suits were so ineffective.  And for some reason, when they were almost broken, they were just as protective as

brand new.  Well, not any more!

Description:
------------

This mod not only gives radiation suits a greater rad resistance, it also makes that value dependent on the condition of the suit.  Just like you would expect, if

the suit was torn to shreds it would be useless, but if it was brand new it would stop almost all the radiation.

-Standard radiation suits have a rad resistance ranging from 50% when in perfect condition to 0% when almost broken.

-Advanced radiation suits, and the space suit, have a rad resistance ranging from 100% when in perfect condition to 0% when almost broken.  When the suit gives

100% resistance, the player's maximum radiation resistance is automatically increased to 100% to allow complete protection.  Once the suit is damaged enough to let

in radiation, the players max resistance is set back to normal, preventing the use of Rad-X to get 100% resistance with a damaged suit.

Also included is an optional "Science Suit Rad Protection" that gives the science suit the same rad protection as a standard radiation suit in addition to its

normal effect.  This is a separate file to avoid an potential conflicts with other mods that may edit the science suit armor item.

This mod also includes optional "Real Rad-X" that increases the protection of Rad-X to 40%, but only 40% of how unprotected you are.
For example, if you have a rad resistance of 10%, you would be unprotected by 90%, so Rad-X would add 36%.  If you then put on a radiation suit that adds rad resist

+10% you would be unprotected by 80%, so Rad-X would add 32%.

Real Rad suits and Real Rad-X are completely independent.  You can use one, the other, or both.  Pick what works best for you.

------------------------
Exact Protection values:
------------------------

Standard Suit:
    - less than 10% condition = 0% rad resistance
    - 10% - 29% condition = 3% rad resistance
    - 30% - 49% condition = 10% rad resistance
    - 50% - 69% condition = 20% rad resistance
    - 70% - 89% condition = 35% rad resistance
    - 90% or above condition = 50% rad resistance

Advanced Suit:
    - less than 10% condition = 0% rad resistance
    - 10% - 29% condition = 5% rad resistance
    - 30% - 49% condition = 20% rad resistance
    - 50% - 69% condition = 40% rad resistance
    - 70% - 89% condition = 70% rad resistance
    - 90% or above condition = 100% rad resistance

Requirements/Compatibility:
This mod should have almost no compatibility issues.  It only edits the Object Effects and not the radiation suits themselves.  Any other armor that uses these

Object Effects will have the same condition dependent rad protection as well, such as the space suit.  Real Rad-X only edits the Rad-X item, so as long as it is

loaded after other mods that edit Rad-X, it should be just fine.  The optional Science Suit Rad Protection file does make changes to the Science Suit armor item, so

that's why it's in a separate file.  Also, I play with around 100 mods and have found no issues so far.

Notes:
While wearing a radiation suit, other radiation suits will show an incorrect value for their rad resistances.  To see the actual rad resistance of a suit, you must

have it equipped.
