Hello everybody! This is a small modder's resource for Fallout 3 of a vintage sewing machine and some related clutter. Also available at the New Vegas Nexus. No DLC required.

I would have uploaded these to my resources page, but it was a lot of work and since I'm really happy with the results, I figured I could give these their own page. Wowza!


= WHAT IS THIS =
Some sewing-themed clutter for you to decorate your buildings, or to use as you see fit.

I put the pieces in their own separate folders, so you will have to set the texture paths in Nifskope. I prefer that you do not use my directories to avoid mod installation/uninstallation conflicts, and instead place them in a directory specifically named for your project.

Here is a tutorial about using resources if you don't know how. All of these pieces have proper collision. You can preview this in Nifskope - static objects have a red outline, clutter objects blue, pink or orange.

Remember - these are only meshes and textures, not a playable mod. If you want to use them, you need to add them to your mods manually with the GECK.


= LIST OF STUFF =
- Mannequins wearing female dresses (spring outfit in green and pink, both clean and dirty; and lingerie, pink and leopard print) and some assorted headgear. All use default textures.
- A box of needles.
- Several rulers, a variety of colors. Clean and dirty textures included.
- Upscaled surgical scissors so they look like you could actually use them to cut fabric!
- A sewing kit with 1k texture, a remake of the rather low-res one I included here.
- The sewing machine, of course! Fully static so it can be used as decoration or as an activator.
- A basic thimble, which is basically a tiny, tiny little bucket.
- Some spools of silk thread, in blue, gray, green, pink, red and yellow.
- A cup with pencils.
