An upgradable ranch house with extra room and board for your companions and tons of features...

"Auto-sort" your gear with variously "smart" themed containers. Includes upgradable water-purifier, advanced nuka fridges, "well-rested" bed for player only, and a repairing merchant who is leveled to the player and can eventually acquire 100 repair skill. Also features an upgradable sentry bot companion in 4 detailed stages with docking station, terminal controls, and a remote control system. Upgradable outside turret system in 2 stages, NPCs, background story, sub-quests, and more...

REQUIRES

  • FOSE
  • Operation Anchorage DLC

LOCATION
  • Across the street from the Springvale School main entrance.

CONFLICTS/BUGS
  • Some normally unused interior sections that don't seem to have full collision were used here. If you walk into certain corners of doorways in the sub-level you may fall through but will appear safe again on the floor afterward. NPCs will avoid these.
  • The vanilla Doctor quest stage for curing addiction is edited with something from this mod added to it. Only a problem if you have another mod that edits this stage entry.

FEATURES

General:
  • fully serviced dual level home complete with nav-meshes and many idle markers (the more NPCs your GPU can handle in the sub-level the better)
  • security terminal systems (lock/unlock doors and more)
  • operations terminal systems + some user logs (background)
  • 3 new leveled human NPCs (1 trader/repair, 1 melee/unarmed combatant, 1 melee scientist/doc)
  • 4 total (extra) beds for companions
  • ample and safe themed storage systems across levels
  • many useful "SMART AUTO-SORTING CONTAINERS" (see below)

Outside:
  • front-access security monitor
  • disabled outside turret systems (can be repaired and upgraded)
  • extra workbench + some basic storage
  • fast-travel from first floor enabled

1st Floor (Ranch):
  • upgradable "well-rested" bed for the PC
  • 1 floor idle sleeping marker for companions
  • upgradable water purifier
  • comm. and security terminals

Sub-Level (Enclave):
  • many types of normal "marked" containers (e.g. stealth armor, power armor, big guns, etc.)
  • vault style armored suit container with improved Chinese sword variant and security armor inside
  • upgradeable sentry bot w/ remote, docking station, and diagnosis/repair/command computer
  • new craft-able armor type with unique lower-cost repair system
  • new stat-improved type weapons/armor (some only buy-able through the repair merchant)
  • 3 additional companion beds in "quarters"
  • mannequin stands (you will need your own mannequin mod)
  • some new special items for free and for sale

UPDATE NOTESv0.9.1

Added 3rd npc, xp-awarding sub-quests, a new recipe, and some upgraded deco including some important fixes. Plus new themed SAS containers and both Guts and Yoshi have more dynamic greetings...

Befriending Yoshi
Guts can now give you a clue on how to start this process. You will also need to find something outside the holo ranch that belongs to Yoshi and return it to her. Keep talking to her after doing both and she will one-time randomly give you a new recipe that you can use with the new "Calibrated Oven" in the sub-level.

Sub-Quests
Speak to Guts about facilities until the new topic shows and select it. For the other quest read Guts' "Work Log" in the User Archives. Both award various amounts of XP.

Turrets & Patching
If you already upgraded them in your save-game and you are patching to this version:

The turret terminal's branch system was broken in the previous version but overhauled in this one. In order to fix this there is a one-time "reset" option at the Research Console in the sub-level. Once reset you will have to go about repairing and upgrading both turrets again, which means you will need all the same materials again.

For new-game or first-time users: simply pick this option before upgrading the turrets so that it disappears or just never use it.

Future updates may include:
  • super upgrades from Guts for sentry bot and turrets
  • some holo capabilities through Henry
  • enemy attack quest on ranch
  • recruit Yoshi option and story
