THE LONE WANDERER THEME BY NATM4C
------------------------------------------------

Introduction
---------------

Spent a lot of time on this mod getting everything sorted, had a lot of fun along the way, both versions are now released so get unlocking!

Also it would mean a lot if you could check out the quest mod I made for Fallout: New Vegas

>> SELLOUT BY NATM4C <<

thanks for downloading, Nathan

Updates
---------

V1.2.1

+ If you choose to kill the Antagonizer you no longer receive the 'enemies nearby' message when trying to sleep
+ Gave the ENDGAME version theme value again, it seems only right to have it cost the same as the other themes in the game.

V1.2

+ Fixed the 'Unmarked Quests' menu, as it linked to the 3rd page of quests and not the 1st
+ Added the Well Rested Bonus to the player bed
+ Changed the conditions for the 'manhandled manservant' unmarked quest, it should now unlock automatically when the mod loads up.
+ Replaced the sink with another one that has removed the rads, now only affects this sink and not the others in the game world.

All changes have been added to the ENDGAME version 1.2 as well.

V1.1

+ Added a FAILSAFE terminal to the mod (activated by pulling the lever behind the filing cabinet in the player's bedroom) so nothing is missable anymore.
+ Fixed some spelling errors in the terminal and menu titles
+ Added a script for the Lunar Lander model/discovery of Museum of Tech (as I didn't actually write one before.. whoops)
+ Moved the Naughty Nightwear forward from under the bed, as the new one kinda hid it slightly

V1.0

+ DEFAULT version released
+ Changed the Lone Wanderer's bed to something a bit more fitting
+ Reduced the price of the DEFAULT theme to 0 caps (for people starting the game the price was too steep)
+ Changed finding Guns, to finding the Unique Guns

Description
--------------

Like many eagerly anticipating the release of Fallout 4 I have gone back to play Fallout 3, but I wanted to make it feel fresh again as I've done everything a 100 times. It was then that I had this idea to make the Lone Wanderer theme, encouraging the player to visit certain places and complete certain quests because it'll unlock a nice little memento in your safehouse! I guess you can say its inspired by Jimmy's room in Bully, how it started off quite bare but by the end of the game it was full of references to missions, npcs etc.

All the items are static, and that's purely because I've spent hours displaying everything so nothing will move out of place.

Features
-----------

There are over 190 items to unlock in this mod! Your progress can be tracked on the terminal in the upstairs bedroom. Simply click on the action to find out what you will unlock by completing said task. The tasks follow a generally good karma path, I don't want players to miss out on unlocking things, but some things could be missed by say 'shooting Moira Brown in the face' you have been warned. Also not that there's spoilers but I do recommend this mod to players who have previously beaten the game, as the terminal lists all quests and rewards that might give away certain plot points, I just thought I'd mention it.

DEFAULT Version - Once you've bought this theme, each task you do unlocks an item for the house.

ENDGAME Version - Once you've bought this them, all the items are unlocked for you automatically.

"What tasks need to be completed?"

+ All Main Quests       + Unique Weapons

+ Crafting                 + All Companions

+ XP Levels               + RAD Levels

+ All Side Quests       + All Unmarked Quests

+ Skill Books             + All Locations

Installing/Uninstalling/Upgrading
---------------------------------------

Either download with NMM or extract the contents of the Lone Wanderer Theme folder from the archive into your New Vegas Data folder. To remove simply do the opposite, deleting the files.

if you have ENDGAME installed and you want the DEFAULT version, take any belongings out of the megaton house including the  SAFE, ARMORY STORAGE and CRAFTING STORAGE just in case. Then remove the mod and install the new one.

Getting Started/Recommended
-------------------------------------

This works exactly like the other themes in the game, you buy it from Moira in Craterside Supply, and voila its installed. If you've had enough of it however, uninstall the mod (due to how the objects are unlocked in the house I couldn't reference them to the theme's xmarker, sorry).

I designed this with all the special house items in mind, they don't need to be bought for the house mod, but there will be empty spaces if you don't get the workbench, nuka-cola machine etc.

"Do I need to start a new game for this?"

Absolutely not, but I'd recommend it.. just install and buy the theme from Moira, the script will recognise what quests are completed, what level you are, what locations you've discvovered etc. BUT

- inventory items
- books
- weapons
- rads
- vault explorations

will need to be done again once the theme is installed, because of the scripts they run on.

Compatibility
----------------

This should work with most mods out there so long as they don't overhaul the base megaton house. You will need all the DLC though, but its 2015 I'm sure everyone does.

Known Bugs/Glitches
------------------------

I do need some help from some scripters out there! The companion statues (this includes the antagonizer and the mechanist) are actually NPCs, that are frozen, but they sure like to wander.. I have used a SetPos command to put them in the place, but this is with an OnLoad block. It works absolutely fine when you come in and out of the cell, but if you reload a save from the megaton house they are all out of place (quick fix, leave and reenter the cell). I'm guessing this is because OnLoad only refers to the loading of cells, do I need a different Begin block? and also, can I remove the 'Talk E)' option? Its distracting as you aren't supposed to speak to statues..

Please if anyone has any idea, contact me.
