Stumbling through the Wasteland one day and I came across a old church filled with Super Mutants. After Evicting the current inhabitants I looked around and thought "Damn, this would make a pretty cool home. Too bad there's not much I can really do to make it... live-in-able."Well many years down the line, no longer playing on a PS3, now on PC, I stumbled across the same old church.. evicted the same old mutants.. and had the same old idea. But this time, this time I can make it live-in-able.
So, this is the first mod I've ever made for Fallout. Just a simple player home. Made the the way I like it. It took me a few days to figure out the GECK but I think I've got a pretty good understanding of it now.
The house is not inside a cell, I thought this might be a cool idea. Even though there is a small cell for the basement, the entrance to that is around back. The house also has roof access. A ladder leading up to the roof give you a pretty neat little overlook of the near by waste. There's a custom sniper up there so you can pick off the pesky mutants in the distance.
Hope you enjoy this quaint little house as much as I enjoyed making it.
Notes:
To get the key just talk to Devin, hes sitting right outside the front. He will give you the key then make his way off to go.. wherever hes going.

If you grab the key and instantly run around back and go into the basement, Devin wont walk away, he will just keep his lazy ass sitting outside your new home. Not sure how to fix this but to avoid it just give it a few seconds before you go explore the basement. If you cant contain your curiosity and do sprint directly to the basement before Devin can get up and the bug does happen, just disable him. Send him to the rave club.
