note: looks like my files are a mess. "Fallout Update" and "SupaFX" need the files from "megatoncampREAPERed." "M Camp Low Smoke" and "Magaton Camp V2" only use vanilla resources so those are standalone. The updates aren't better here; just different.
you never need more than one esp active w this mod.
=EDIT=
noticed there were almost a thousand DL's on the original but if you use the original you want low-smoke. trust me. original file removed.
Megaton Camp V2
Adds a small camp outside Megaton. Just circle around the town until you see it.
Includes all the living essentials, namely a bed and a fire. But no water, sorry.
You also get your own car and a camper to make your neighbors jealous.
Nothing earth-shattering; just a little camp a la freedom fighters. Well, it has an american flag anyway...
This is basically Megaton camp post Dukov, or Megaton camp with a slightly better plan.
Not much loot in this one. Same Chinese AK and some ammo as before. Placed weapons are static; they're only there for looks.
Viva la Freedom! Ha ha, except the weapons, of course!
Enjoy.
=====Update=====
I blew up Megaton for the first time; for anyone who hasn't done that yet I highly recommend it. Anyway, it made the camp sort of useless so this gives it some post megaton life. Also adds a camp resident named the Reaper. Reaper doesn't serve much function other than to keep you company.
Includes the option to add your own music. replace cutterstheme.wav (check the file name) w the tune of your choice or listen to blank file I givd you.
Pre-explosion camp is also included, same old camp w the Reaper and music option added. that's campgroundBG.wav to change the music on that one.
new camp has a mondo radiation suit and a "life preserver" contraption to deal w the rads. you can use the new camp w/o exploding megaton - you just trade the bed for the healing station and a different color scheme.
encampment is the old and what? megFOencampment? is the new. but both of them are new and both are in the new file.
this is mainly meant for anyone who was a fan of the original. it just didn't fit well in blown up megaton. and i wanted the sleep function (to heal) but the bed was useless (cuzza the rads) so I traded it for a magical healing, uh, internal router or gfx or something
there's a chance I botched the files so go easy. glasses come from kikai and joefoxx did the gun, just in case I forgot anything. Baelkin did the regulator mask but I know that that's included for sure.
===update for the fallout version====
haven't heard anything about giant exclamation marks, so I'm assuming it's all good. I'm diggin it personally; probably the first "house" mod designed to be in a radiation zone. I went ahead and "eviled" it up a bit - since you blew the place up and all. also added some "survivors." call them the toughest citizens from megaton. and cockaroaches, of course, cuz they survive anything.
you'll need the main file to use the update. and you should blow up megaton, otherwise it doesn't make sense.
==final update==
did a super FX version. You'll need the pitt and the main file. Features a throne befitting the scourge of megaton - with a view of your work, and some loyal subjects. and lotsa fx.
no update for the pre-explosion version; I mean, I blew the place up...
old one was good the way it was.
Here's the lineup:
DL primary file for pre and post-explosion versions featuring "the reaper." Post explosion version can be used pre-explosion here.
DL Fallout update for an updated version of the post-exploded version. Designed w/ no more megaton in mind.
DL SupaFX for performance-bogging, scourge of megaton version. Requires the Pitt. Blow up Megaton. You don't have to but otherwise whats the point?
or
DL the old file (V2) for a lonely camp. No Reaper, no megaton survivors, no supa dupa fx. But fairly well-received, nonetheless. The original is just an esp so you don't need the main file. Recommended as a simple camp outside megaton; neutral in alignment.
low smoke is an alternate, um, low-smoke version of the simple camp.
