This is a rather simple script edit that brings about two small changes in the game. Firstly, your companions will wait outside PP Rotunda when you enter it. Secondly, if you sacrifice yourself, you die and the game ends. This way the only way to live is to send Lyons to die. Yes, I think it does work with custom races.

The first part is there to enforce a hard choice without a way out dangling in front of you making up cringeworthy explanations. It's not really explained well, so if anyone has ideas on how to explain it better, I appreciate any suggestions.

The second part is there, so that the 'sacrifice' choice in the end is actually a hard choice, rather than a grave misunderstanding of what the term 'sacrifice yourself' means.


Seriously? Well, if this just happened to be the first mod you've downloaded, welcome! To install it you must find a Data folder in your FO3 installation directory and put the .esp file in there. Then download and install Fallout Mod Manager and tick the box next to the name of the mod. Dom


Actually, I highly recommend deactivating the file right after the ending. Having too many active plugins might lead to unpleasant consequences and after the 'Two weeks later.' cutscene, it does nothing, so there's no point. To actually uninstall it, go to Data and delete the .esp file.
