About this mod

Changes the speed at which you recharge action points (double, half, never, lightning, you choose).

I didn't like how slowly the action points recharged, so I doubled the rate. Then I figured people like other styles, so I made three more versions: One halves the recharge rate, one makes it recharge nigh instantly, and one makes it never recharge on its own. Whichever you feel like. I feel it's fairly obvious which file is which.

With the never rate, you're relegated to using Jet and the like to restore it; it becomes a concrete precious commodity, like health.

With the lighting rate, the perk "Grim Reaper's Sprint" is kind of pointless.

If you want any other rate, just ask. It's super easy to change.

EDIT: I added a "stockpile" mod. Normally the base Action Point max is 65, and I changed it to 1000 in that mod...with the side effect that your action points never recharge, ever. Upon loading this mod, you *start* with 1000 points, so waste them or cherish them, I don't really care.

EDIT 2: Acting upon a user suggestion, I added a new file, called "Stockpile Recharge," in which you have 500 AP (down from Stockpile's 1000, up from vanilla's 65 or so) and you restore action points at a rate of 0.9 (Up from Stockpile's 0, down from vanilla's 4). Now, 0.9 might seem like a lot if you have that many points, and overpowered, but it's not percentage based; since there are 500 points it takes about 10 minutes to restore fully (this is precisely how long the user requested, though I could easily make it much shorter). It's still pretty overpowered IMO, but I gives the peoples what they wants.

EDIT 3: It's been many months since I last updated this file. I've since uninstalled Fallout 3, so no more requests. I wasn't even using the GECK as it hadn't come out at the time, so any "conditional" things, like on a keypress, or having a wait period, would not be feasible anyway. Probably is now with the GECK, but I've never used it.

Anyway, yeah, no more updates.
