This mod adds a heat shimer visual effect like that on a hot day when you are outside and the sun is blasting hard

This mod adds a heatwave effect similar to a really hot day when you're in exterior and is clear weather. That's pretty much it. Not the one on the ground where it becomes mirror like but the one where it looks like you can see heat waves coming out of things and air becomes all wavy also called heat shimmer.
Here is a demo of the strongest mode possible found in the optional files (I just realized I kinda move too much is hard to see .sorry..I never taken a video before of a running game I guess I need to be standing still damn)
The effect is subtle but noticeable. Won't prevent you from doing your business and if walking or moving is barely noticeable but when standing still you can deff see it. Is there. All around you. And the effect is unique and loops continually as long as the weather is clear sun is at full blast and you're outside and is day time.
It uses a token system because tokens work as fast as the game can go so you won't see the heatwave effect lagging behind you ever.
This is part of my mod Custom Beginning . I am working on making the weather more immersive. Just added rain (1% chance) and I thought was wasteland , all trees dead, maybe heat wave weather would be nice. But then why make a new weather when DC is a wasteland. And I imagine the wasteland being hot and deadly and lifeless almost barren desert with a couple of shrubs and a bunch of wastlanders taking the hit full blast no wonder they look so tanned in the game. Same with raiders. And theres very little food and they just eat each other . While people who live in rivet city or underworld or other civilizer areas managed to fend off the heat hiding underground or who knows what . Megaton is built lower than the ground and is naturally cooler than normal plus they have a water processing plant to keep themselves cool and hydrated. Etc. But once outside heat is gonna murder you. Would be nice to make a mod that you pass out from staying out too much or you need to drink water consistently to not pass out etc. So yea. I wanted to feel more like that .
There are no pictures cause is hard to show in pictures you need to experience it for yourself. Just download it and see if you like it.
The special FX is a heavily modified version of gastrap so I assume if NV uses gastrap you can port this there. But don't use it for any other games as per Bethesda license. < No longer required as I made the optional models.
If you're wondering how is done is just a giant wobly sphere with a refraction shader that's moving around you from top to bottom giving the impression that the world is being distorted left and right in waves. The strongest effect is a very distorted sphere and the weakest one is a low res far away sphere with normals very smoothed out.
Added 3 more flavours much stronger than this one. I prefer the original one because is less intrusive and more subtle. The new ones are very strong like being underwater. 1 feels like you are swimming in heat, 2 less strong, 3 even less strong. All 3 flavours are probably twice more intense the original one.
