FWE - Chems Be Gone
You're taking your very first steps out of Vault 101. The horizon is smoky, filled with the ruins of a long dead civilization and... oh, what's this? A locked safe! You wonder what long lost treasures could be inside. With a deft twist of the wrist, you crack open the lock to discover... an assortment of chemicals out of an episode of ER. Well there goes that sense of wonder shot to hell.
As much as I like certain parts of FWE, the new chems always rubbed me the wrong way. Phencyclidine, Dextromethorphan, Cocaine - being out of character for the game doesn't even begin to describe these additions. This patch covers the following:
Removal of:
- 2CB
- Alprazolam
- Amphetamine
- Aspirin
- Clonazepam
- Cocaine
- Dextromethorphan
- Diazepam
- Heroin
- Ibuprofen
- MDMA
- Methadone
- Methamphetamine
- Phencyclidine
- Sack of Weed
- Sativex
Renaming of:
- Clam Chowdah to Clam Chowder
- Coldturkene to Fixer
- Morphine to Med-X
- Multivitamin pills to Multivitamins
- RedEye Nodoze pills to RedEye Nodoze
*Thorazine has been left alone for the purposes of retaining one of the syringe and dart gun weapon variants. Scripts have been adjusted acordingly.
*If using on an existing game, you will need to wait, typically, 3-4 days for a vendor chest/NPC reset.
