This mod ads perk called Air Tackle to the game which allows you to jump tackle opponents as well as jump higher than normal. Read desc for more details

Hi.

I created this perk for my mod and I decided to release this for everyone to use since may be fun to play with.

It introduces a new melee mechanic to the game called jump tackle . You jump onto an enemy and attempt to knock them down. If successful they will be knocked down and you lose 1/3 of your AP. If you don't have enough AP you will always fail. Furthermore , if you fall a distance that is longer than your maximum jump height you will deal damage to the tackled enemy based on falling distance. Right now is 1/30th of your distance and believe it or not is actually a lot!  If i make it 1/10th I kill a raider in one jump. How much life do they have? Based on my calculations a level 10 character will jump 3.5 times higher and deal about 75 damage if they fall maximum fall height.   

You also jump much higher than normal based on your Agility from 2.9 to 3.5 times higher than normal. This allows you to reach objects and ledges really easy and you can jump back and forth away and toward your enemy really fast. Is fun! 

if you play test this mod please let me know if you find the damage / jump height good / bad or what should be changed. I don't want to make the height any more than 3.5 because you will start breaking the game going into places or over invisible walls etc. 3.5 is decent. But damage can be changed!

This was something I wanted to do for a long time in Fo3 and just know I managed to learn enough scripting knowledge to get it done. Is heavily influenced by sprint tackle so thanks to Lork for Sprint mod


Also i wanna credit salomaogh for showing me is possible to do a super jump I saw his NV cool crysis suit he made and he had a jump mode really cool. SO i decided to finally attempt this jumping thing and there were so many problems turns out the game places an invisible floor beeath you when you jump over the normal distance. People suggested different things . I went for the ledge because gives more jump. 

This was originally designed as a special ability  for my "vampire" The family Meresti race who are really mobile night hunters with perpmanent night vision and enhanced night sense and diminished day sense. Not really vampires but rather mutated people with glowy eyes haha.

Oh sorry. Two more things. Be careful with the FOSE plugin called Stutter Removal (I think) it causes instability with the higher than normal jumping. Not sure why! But if the game is crashing for you try removing that plugin or experiment with different settings. 

To clarify the damage part. You jump x times higher than normal now but you also can fall down  x times more than normal. So at Agility 10 you have about 3.5 x your normal jump giving you a jump of 200 or so  and 3.5x your normal fall distance which gives you about 2000 game units instead of 600 (default). SO if you jump from a ledge or something  that is about 500 units high you jump up 200 so that's 700 fall down 200 then again 500. Since you fell down 500 units more than your jump you deal all that difference in damage 1/30 of it to be precise which is 17 damage or so.
