HELP WANTED: So, I am officially asking the modding community for help in a way that I never thought I would have to...via my own modding page. I am looking for people who can script and make quests. I am getting overwhelmed working on this on my own, and I am hoping that this will attract attention. So, if you or anyone you know can script and create quests, and are interested in becoming a part of the GBE team, send me an email at [email protected].

Note: If you are experiencing a bug that causes the game to crash when you save, make sure that you can save at some point(I.E, when it first starts), get to the point where you crash when you save, go into the console and type in player.kill. This will cause the player to die. Reload the last save, and then you should be able to save at will. I am also not sure if any old saves will work with this version of the mod. Keep in mind, you might have to make a new save game.

Note that version 3.0 has no voice acting in it anymore.

If you don't want to go through the long walk at Oasis, I have uploaded a patch that will allow you to skip it entirely. If you use it, you will start at the point when you are a child in the play pen.


Important:
I am going to be putting together a team of writers to help me with this mod. They will officially start (assuming I have enough people) after this next update. If you think that you would be able to help with the writing of this mod, send me an e-mail, and I will give you a little "test." If you make it, I will tell you how the writing team will work. I also need men and woman that can do really, really good imitations so that I can replace the vanilla dialogue that involves the Lone Wanderer and V101. Since it is now an ESM, I can start to accept help with Level Design. If you are interested, just send an email to the address in the description.

Description:
God Bless the Enclave takes place in 2284, and deviates from the canon Fallout timeline, starting with that fact that the Lone Wanderer was never born. Their is a full timeline of events here. In the end, this mod will make the world into my one, grand image. A world under that total control of the Enclave. A better world.

I have also made a custom God Bless the Enclave Main Menu you can download.

A Note:
When I upload a file, unless it is otherwise stated, it will always be the whole mod. It is just easier for me to do it that way.

How to Start:
How to start this mod is simple. Start a new game.

Credits: I used the Advanced Power Armor model released by Lexx, made by Omage, and textured by HAL9000. Not sure all this was required, but I can't remember what his usage rights were, so here is everything.

FOSE: I cannot stress how important this is. If you do not have it, you will be interrupted by wild animals, and much of the new stuff, like the new currency will not work.

Bugs
Most of the merchants in Megaton have no voice when you use topics for buying. I plan to fix this before the next update, but, what I plan and what take place ain't ever exactly been similar.

Incompatibilities
Anything that changes the main story. Stuff like the FWE Alternate start and any other main story changers.

Ties that Bind is incompatible. There is currently no plans to patch this.

F.A.Q.s

Question: Why are not all my voices working?
Answer: When I make a release, I don't usually have all the voice acting done. Don't expect to have it any other way, however, with this mod gaining some popularity, I have been getting more and more voice actors.

Question: You know you don't need a new timeline, right?
Answer: Of course I know. It's a lot easier to do it with one, though, than it is to try and throw in the Lone Wanderer in a way that doesn't make sense.

Question: Why do you have Jason using a pop-up dialogue system, rather than the normal dialogue?
Answer: It makes that scene flow better. The second scene would need it so that he doesn't stop to tell you about the new kid. Having two different ones didn't really work that well for me.

Question: Why the Enclave? The Enclave are evil, they can never have respect, blah blah blah, generic moronic statement.
Answer: Just, stop talking please. The Enclave has never been defined with anything other than bad, but we know nothing more about there motives than what the leaders have said.

Change Log, starting with 2.0

Version 2.0: Fixes multiple bugs, adds names to many un-named characters, changes Megaton a large amount, Makes some of the merchants in Megaton use Enclave Gold Coins (I believe that Moira is the only one not to use them), Adds a new Enclave Combat Armor, adds some new voice acting, increases the voice of the Treeminder Guard (now Branchtender Pine) to audible levels, removes the script changing the Enclave armor, and replaces it with one that adds it to the leveled lists (the old one was causing bugs for me).

Version 2.1: Fixes a newly made bug involving the money system. Adds a new quest, and one new armor.

Version 2.2: Adds a new quest, along with a new armor, and a new outpost at V87, and a new mutant.
