Really simple mod does exactly what the title says. This is by default enabled in NV all terminals have a 10 sec refresh time.

Hello everyone.
This mod prevents players for spam hacking/lockpicking by having 10 sec cooldown between attempts.
I am surprised nobody has done this yet. I mean NV has it already and it makes total sense. 10 seconds is pretty low but I did it same as NV.
If you wanna know how I do it I simply check every second if you are in the hacking /lockpicking mini game and start counting up when you leave. If you try again within 10 sec you get booted out and a message appears telling you you are tired and you need to wait X seconds (where X is the seconds left to wait). That's it!
Oh also having Computer Whiz or Infiltrator cuts the cooldowns in half.
Simple.

BUG / KNOWN Issue: When force quitting the lockpick menu the mouse pointer may disappear. This is normal because that menu hides the mouse if is in the center so force quitting the menu the mouse stays invisible until the menu is loaded again and exited naturally successful lockpick or leave using shortcut. Is a limitation of the engine. There is a way around this but until I make that hack just simply wait 10 sec load the lockpick screen again and leave naturally. Only affects lockpick minigame. Hacking mini game is unaffected.
Oh btw you can do anything you want with this mod include it anywhere with or without credit is up to you.
If you wish to change the cd value there are two globals that control hacking cd and lockpicking cd and they are both defaulted at 10. Simply go in GECK or FO3 edit and change the default value to anything you wish. The 50% less from Computer Whiz and infiltrator are done automatically for you as well as the text says already the time between attempts is halved. So is all done for you. All you need is change the global default values and you're on your way.
