Name: Oasis Safe Water
Version: 1.0
Date: 12/23/2008
Category: Gameplay Effects and Changes
Author: lordrichter
Description
===========
It makes no sense to me that Oasis would exist in the wasteland without some fundamental difference in the environment. The obvious culprit is the water, which must have escaped significant contamination with the deadly radioactive particulate found in water elsewhere. Thus, I thought it odd that the water in the Oasis area was radioactive, especially with references in dialog to unsafe water elsewhere.
This mod changes the pools of water in the outdoor areas of Oasis to have no radiation. What this means is that the PC gains no rads from drinking, wading, or swimming in the water. The water retains the normal healthful
benefits.
No changes were made to the adjacent underground areas. According to Oasis locals, the water in the underground areas is contaminated and they are right in thinking so.
Install
=======
Simply extract OasisSafeWater.esp into your Fallout3/Data folder, and activate the plugin through the Fallout Launcher or a mod manager.
Uninstall
=========
Use the Fallout Launcher or your mod manager to uncheck
OasisSafeWater.esp and remove the file from your Fallout3/Data directory.
Incompatibility
===============
This mod changes "OasisWater01" and the object "OasisWater1x1". Any mod that also changes these will conflict with this mod.
History
=======
1.0 - 2008/12/23 - Initial release.
Licensing/Legal
===============
You can do whatever you want with this mod but all I ask in return is that
you give me credit if you distribute any part of this mod.
