About this mod

Makes sure Caravan Merchants (and their mercenaries and brahmin) will heal after combat, so that their deaths are not inevitable

This is my own, more moderate solution to the "Crow/Doc Hoff/Lucky Harith/Crazy Wolfgang die too easily" problem.  Read on....

The Caravan Merchants in Fallout 3 are a great idea that adds ambiance to the Capital Wasteland.  A set of merchants who roam from town to town carrying supplies and other things, who are worth tracking down for some of the things they carry.  Great idea, with one flaw: they inevitably wind up dying.  Why?  Because they do not heal after combat.  Even after having two legs crippled and being dropped to 20% health, merchants will merrily continue on their trading routes through Raider-infested lands, marching onward towards their highly predictable demises.

Now as artfully as I may have painted that picture, this is not intentional.  There's no lore establishing that Crow, Lucky Harith, Doc Hoff, and Crazy Wolfgang all have deep-seated death wishes.  It is quite simply a design flaw, something that the devs didn't think about in depth enough before releasing the game.  Which is odd, because it's not like they were distracted by any of the million other aspects of a hugely complex follow up to a beloved RPG franchise or anything.

ANYWAY, this mod adds some code to each of the four Caravan Merchants, along with their pack brahmin and mercenary guards.  The code simply heals them after each instance of combat, just like Companions, on the assumption that they're probably well stocked enough to have stimpaks and what have you.

Note that this doesn't resurrect the Caravan Merchants if they're dead.  I'll make a separate mod for that later.
