About this mod
Basically ported my moon that i did for new vegas to be used in Fallout 3, this changes the moon to look like something crashed into it, i just like the overall feel it gives during the nights.

This is a port of my moon that i did for new vegas.
Basically i got bored with the dull tiny moon just hovering in the sky doing nothing to improve the overall feel of destruction in the game. So i worked on this mod for my own use.
I got the idea from looking at previous mods based on the moon and also the movie the time machine, where the future people built colonies on the moon and then caused it to crack
If you want a valid reason why the moon in fallout could have been broken, it could have been a few nukes that might have hit the moon, or it might have been that in the next hundred years or so something smashed into the moon. or it could have been like it is in the time machine that there was some kind of bases on the moon, lol or you could blame the aliens and their ship that exploded on the moon (according to MZC). Pick your choice, either way it i feel that it adds that little extra kick that nighttime needs.
After looking at previous mods and after a few attempts i decided on using a 3d model to get the lighting of the phases just right and then after that render it out and use photoshop to clean up and add some detail, so i feel that in the final one the lighting and shadows is at its most realistic. I did add a bit of a glow around the "fullmoon" phase but if anyone feels its too bright and wants me to post one without the glow feel free to ask me and i would upload it,
I am open to any other constructive advice.
Why have a boring moon replacement when you can have something unusual and very post-apocalyptic.
Any one have permission to use and edit my files as long as you give some form of credit for my work.
Install by coping the files to the data folder
Uninstall by just removing the files

Just a last point to make, the only little glitch is that in Anchorage you will notice the broken moon too, unfortunately there is nothing i can do about it.
