About this mod

A simple script mod that fixes a problem with characters getting stuck inside the Vault 112 pod when trying to enter Tranquility Lane. Also fixes the same scripting bugs for good characters who wish to leave using the Chinese Invasion FailSafe in the Abandoned House.

Permissions and credits
UPDATE - It seems some players are experiencing a glitch that causes their Pip Boy to be removed upon exiting the Vault 112 Pod. If this is happening to you, then you most likely used this mod incorrectly.

You CANNOT use this mod if you have already entered Tranquility Lane, or if you are already inside the Vault 112 Pod. This mod ONLY works if loaded from a save from BEFORE using the Vault 112 Pod.

You will know you have used this mod correctly if your character shows up in Tranquility Lane as an adult with their full inventory. If not, then most likely this mod is conflicting with another mod. However, if you are transported to Tranquility Lane as a adult with your full inventory (as shown for my own character in the images section), then this mod has worked and should help you bypass the Vault 112 bug. Afterwards, follow the instructions below to complete Tranquility Lane. Good luck and happy gaming!

Not sure if this is going to be useful since it's five years late, but if anyone ever again has the problem where your character gets stuck inside the Vault 112 Pod when trying to enter Tranquility Lane (screen fades to white, and then nothing happens), this script mod causes those blocks of code to activate on different triggers.

PART 1 - Entering Tranquility Lane

Basically, this mod transports your character to the Tranquility Lane starting bench as soon as the game detects you are sitting in the pod, without the scripted delay. Also, it disables the blocks of code that turn your characters into a child and removes their inventory, allowing you to enter Tranquility Lane as you are.

PART 2 - Chinese Invasion FailSafe for Good Characters

First, you MUST start the quest "Tranquility Lane" by speaking to at least one resident about Betty's whereabouts. So long as you do this, the quest should start by itself. Secondly, after the quest has started, you can immediately go to the Abandoned House and enter the musical code to reveal the FailSafe terminal.

Select the Chinese Invasion FailSafe. Since you entered Tranquility Lane as an adult, something in the script prevents the FailSafe program from happening. To FIX this, I set the FailSafe program to activate upon attacking Betty. (YES, you must attack Betty)

DON'T WORRY. In this mod, the "kill script" that kills your player upon attacking Betty has been disabled, and replaced with the code that activates the FailSafe and reveals the Exit Door to leave Tranquility Lane. Betty will still respond with her empty threats, but the FailSafe program will start instead, and you can tell that beotch goodbye!

This mod works similar to another Custom Race Workaround Fix, but that one didn't work for me for some reason, hence me making my own. Here it makes no difference whether you're using mods, custom races, or not. It should work without needing to disable or change anything. Place it at the bottom of your load order if possible.
