What it does:
Removes loading pictures, replacing them with just black.
Questions:
Q: Will it make my game load quicker than before?
A: After extensive testing, there was no difference.
Q: I sometimes get a white fade during loading, which reveals black squares at the bottom.
A: The game is switching between load screens, and this white fade is part of that.
Locate your fallout.ini and change
fLoadingBkgdUpdateInterval=10.0000
to 180.0000
Installation:
Use your mod manager, or:
1) Unzip
2) Note the dlc04 folder in the extracted archive. This relates to loading screens for a dlc. I'm not sure which one. You may or may not want to leave it there, but it won't do harm anyway.
3) Merge Data folder with your existing Data folder.
Backup your files if you are unsure.
