About this mod

Goggles of Console (Fixes the Vista console key not working issue) REQUIRES FOSE!!!!!

Permissions and credits
My tweak of the Ring Of Console mod for Oblivion, now for Fallout 3.

This fixes the issue with Vista and not letting the player open the console using the ~ key, and when disabling that IR driver or whatever it is doesn't fix the issue.

Now blessed by the FOSE guys!

REQUIRES FOSE TO WORK!
Let me say that again.

YOU MUST HAVE FOSE INSTALLED FOR THIS TO WORK.

Get FOSE here http://fose.silverlock.org/

~~~~~~This mod is in a Beta state pending a full FOSE release. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Updates/changes/fixes will be made as needed when the FOSE updates.~~~~~~
INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS
(Because it can't be too much more simple)
1. Install FOSE.
It's simple. Download FOSE (The link is up there ^^^), drag and drop fose_1_0.dll, fose_editor_1_1.dll, and fose_loader.exe to your Fallout3 directory.
2. Make or edit your Fallout3 shortcut, and re-direct it to point to fose_loader.exe
Using the default instalation path for Fallout3 on Vista it would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\fose_loader.exe"
(If your shortcut looses the nifty Pipboy head icon, this is normal)
3. Drop Consolemodv3 into your Falout3/Data folder.
4. Use FOMM / the Fallout3 launcher's Data Files option to select ConsoleModv3 from the menu.
5. Start your game USING THE SHORTCUT. If you start using the Fallout3 loader or the "Launch Fallout" button in FOMM then FOSE will NOT load, and the goggles wont' show up.
New characters will get them when you start the Escape! quest, or you can pick up a pair from Moria in Megaton or Bannon in Rivet City.
I suggest assigning them to a quickselect slot so you can just hit the key and they'll pop on yer head and you can console to your heart's content, but you can still just select them from your inventory if you want.
~Edit~
Minor script revision to the "Escape!" quest, which adds the goggles to the PC's inventory at the start as they're waking up. It still generates an item pickup window, however. If that really bugs you, sorry. Moria still sells them, primarily for those of you who don't want to start a new game. Bannon also sells them for you guys who blew up Megaton. :/ And for those of you who wasted Rivet City, I added them to the VendorArmor chest so pretty much anyone who sells armor should now sell the goggles, too. That (should) mean all the named NPC armor vendors, as well as the wasteland scavers who sell armor. This is a test "feature" at this time and I'm not 100% sure it works. It's sort of a pain in the ass to test for.
Moira/Bannon now sell a pair of goggles at no cost called "The goggles that do nothing". They are also given to a
Equip these to open the console window.
I highly suggest you edit your Fallout.ini file to change the console coordinates so you can see it.
I use 640x480, which puts it near the center of my screen so that I know it's up.
Goggle rotation issue is now fixed; they properly appear on the PC like they should.
If you blew up megaton, and you don't want to start a new game, you can pick them up from Bannon at Rivet City, OR possibly from anybody else who sells armor, including wasteland scavers.
