===============================================
DESCRIPTION:
===============================================

First, sorry for my english... hope you could read that.

Ok, here they are, Spider Drones from Operation: Anchorage.

I was looking for a mod that adds Spider Drones to the game, but didn't find something that worked like I wanted. So I made this and it was quite tricky 'cause the Drones are Creatures and not really weapons.

===============================================
WHERE TO GET THEM:
===============================================

Some can be found in the VSS vault of the Outcast Outpost after completing Operation: Anchorage.

There is also a Special Workbench and the Schematics inside the VSS Vault to make more Drones.
This is a different workbench then the Vanilla workbench, the Spider Drones can only be made on this, I didn't want to add them to the normal workbenches 'cause this would mess up other Mods like WMK...

You'll need: 2 Scrap Metal, Fission Battery, Sensor Module, Plasma Mine to make 1 Spider Drone.

===============================================
FEATURES:
===============================================

- The Drones behave like mines first and must be activated after you've dropped them on the floor

- Two Modes to choose from, 'Follow Mode' and 'Search & Destroy Mode'

- The Drones will engage player targets

- The Drones won't engage companions or any actor that isn't hostile towards the player

- The Drones can be picked up anytime - as long as they aren't exploded

- Craftable on a Special Workbench in the Outcast Outpost of OP:A

- The Drones can be used to Guard several Locations like your home, or simply act as a pet.

================================================
NOTES:
================================================

- regardless of the number of enemies blown up by a Spider Drone you will only get 35XP, again as they are technically no Weapon there is no way (for me) to reward the player for laziness.

- don't activate more than 10 mines at one time, the engine starts getting unstable at this point, at least on my old PC

- don't add the Spider Drones to the Inventory by using console commands, they are scripted, if you want more its better to search for the components (or simply add the components) by console and make more on the workbench

- don't throw a Spider Drone exactly on another Drone - they'll exlode

- the Drones won't follow you though doors into new cells (how could they open doors?), simply pick them up if you need them

=================================================
INSTALLATION:
=================================================

- extract the SpiderDrones.esp into your Fallout3/Data Folder
- activate SpiderDrones.esp in the FOMM or the Launcher

There are no Meshes or Textures needed, everything is allready in the basefiles of Fallout3 but was cut from game (Thanks to BinaryStyles who figured that out), the Drones itself come with the Anchorage DLC.

=================================================
DEINSTALLATION:
=================================================

- delete SpiderDrones.esp from your Fallout3/Data Folder

=================================================
COMPATIBILITY:
=================================================

- shouldn't be incompatible with anything as there are no changes in vanilla entries, only thing I can think of are minor problems with mods that change the VSS vault in the Outcast Outpost

=================================================
TOOLS USED:
=================================================

- the G.E.C.K.

=================================================
CREDITS:
=================================================

- Bethesda for making Fallout 3

- The Fallout 3 Nexus

- Thanks to BinaryStyles for his mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12558 that gave me a base idea where to start

Hope you have some fun with those beasts, please leave feedback.
