This mod keeps a book in your inventory after you have read it in one of two forms:
1. If you already have the Comprehension perk you use your advanced comprehension skills to "annotate" the book and your "Annotated Dean's Electronics", for example, remains in your inventory as a MISC item for you to sell (at a price that reflects the book's condition) or do with as you see fit.
2. If you do not yet have Comprehension, you read the book from cover to cover and back again to get what you can from it, then it stays in your inventory as e.g. a "Well-thumbed Grognak the Barbarian" which you can re-read later once you've got Comprehension for subtleties and nuances you may have missed first time round.
This mod may conflict with others that affect skill books and/or the Comprehension perk.
The mod was compiled with the FOSE (Fallout Script Extender) version of GECK, but does not use any FOSE-specific commands as far as I know. As such it may or may not require FOSE to run, but I haven't been able to test this as I can't launch Fallout without FOSE at the moment.
Thanks to Bethesda for Fallout 3 and the GECK and to Tukka and da mage for excellent skill book mods.
