Ammo Press with CALIBR

If you like using CALIBR-based weapons mods (ala 20th Century Weapons) but want an alternative to expensive NPC vendor visits or console cheats because of the scarcity of ammunition, then this mod is for you! It takes the Ammo Press from DLC The Pitt and fully integrates the whole range of CALIBR ammo types. Unlike other attempts at this same idea, I did not pick and choose the available ammo types for you... I just opened up the whole range of options for you to enjoy.

Menus are sorted roughly by ammo type and caliber, and exchange rates are designed to fit in with the existing Fallout 3 lore using the vanilla ammo types as a guide. Basically, heavier and more powerful rounds cost more to make. Finally, you can keep that M1911A1, 8mm Mauser or Skorpion machine pistol fed and happy in a plausible way without cheating, gimmicks, or otherwise breaking your immersion in the Fallout 3 story.

This is my attempt to make the use of CALIBR weapons more logical, but it is not meant to be a hardcore realism mod. If you don't like how I did the sorting of the menus or if you don't agree with some of my game balance decisions, knock yourself out by tweaking it to your liking. Because other than fixing obvious bugs, I will not be taking requests on this one. Generating all these forms and scripts took me a while and I like how they turned out. That... and doing it once was enough!

Free to use without prior permission as longs as I am credited. That includes using my scripts. Being a hack is cool... It's what I do. But being a thief or a poser is pretty lame--especially when someone gives you something for free.
