About this mod

Makes all Fook 2 NPCs (raiders, mutants, talon, etc) use ammo. Suddenly, gunfights are actually more dynamic, switching between weapons moment to moment, and diving for that dropped magazine before your enemy gets there.

Permissions and credits
=================================================
Made with GECK to add compatibility for Fallout 3 - Project Brazil. It is, however, a stand alone Addon. Use in conjunction with an Increased Damage mod for best resuts.

=================================================

Effects:

1. ALL NPCs now use ammo. Even your followers except for robots.

2. Ammo Leveled Lists are increased, about to 2x or half of their original rate, in order to keep NPCs shooting as long as they player can.

3. Hit them in the head, and they WILL feel it, but so will you. You no longer need to download another headshot mod, as ours works okay.

4. Some ranges of sniper rifles are increased, and shotguns (20Ga) deacreased, while others (12Ga) are slightly increased.

5. Getting hit will often result in you and your opponent getting their ass knocked to the ground. Getting shot SUCKS, no matter with what calibre it is, every shot is a critical hit. I know this from experience. However, for gameplay reasons, any weapon above 12 damage will knock you on your ass after 1 or 2 hits, as long as a critical hit is landed.

6. Firing in VATS will now alert hostiles across any distance, unless it is silenced or quiet.

7. Grenades will also knock you and opponents off your feet every time, as will missiles, mininukes and pulse grenades.

3. No Damage Rates have been changed to increase compatibility with other mods that increase realism as well.

You are wandering along a dry Wasteland bluff. The sweat on your palm is glazing the butt of your hunting rifle, and your fingers are playing with the medical tape wrapped around the stock.

You lick the dust off a set of 5 .32 bullets you found in the cabinet of a 200 year old home rotting beside a riverbed. You're unsure if you can place any more faith in their functionality than in that mirage in the distance holding drinkable water. But, ammo is hard to find, and this place won't forgive your excuses.

You haven't eaten in two days. The radiation from the sun is drenching every part of you, making you wonder whether the glow on the evening horizon is caused by heat delirium, or the vibrating effects of the ancient bombs. Your heart is pounding. The wind is picking up on the cliff above.

Suddenly, you hear a twig crack, and your senses make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

"Comeon Boys! Fresh meat! Hahahaha!"

You shoulder your rifle butt and dodge for cover. Three raiders appear on the cliff, firing down at you with Ak-47s and pipe riffles. Where the hell did they come from!?

Three more rush into the bluff with M4A1s and an old grease gun. Their dogs are barking and gnarling, and a scorpion rattles as it glides past your foot from where you crouch.

From behind the rock outcrop that defends you from the oncoming fire you wait for your chance, thinking, "Jesus Christ, are the bastards never going to run out of ammo!?"

--- DUNNA DU DUN! ----

[Enter Vault Boy]

Why, YES BOB!

Now they can! With your own Personal Fook 2 NPC Ammo Use dot E S P, those hostile raiders that previously had a worm hole in their pocket connected to an alternate dimension made of free lead and sulfur will suddenly find themselves playing in the real world!

Raider: huh?

That's right! Enemies will now run out of ammo, just like a real raider should! Watch as the smirk drops off that cocky punk's face as his sure shot turns into nothing but a mocking "click."

Raider: keep talking smart ass, I've had about enough of your shit!

*pow pow*

Raider: Yaaaa!

Other Raider: Fuck this, I'm outta here!

The Lead Raider drops his worthless assault rifle and whips out a smaller Service Revolver, as two of his buddies rush in with brass knuckles and a meat cleaver.

With a glint in your eye, you easily dispatch the two remaining raiders with a pair of well placed shots, before turning on the trio coming after you.

The leader falls into the dirt, his teeth grinding against a rock as his last breath vanishes into the dust-devil whipping past.

You realize you are out of ammo. You lock eyes with the last raider who has a combat knife turning in his grimy hand.

Raider: You wanna get close? I'll get close!

You each dive for the last rounds of ammo in the dead leader's pockets, scrambling to get to the Service Revolver before he does!

You barely manage to grab it from the dirt as his knife slashes across the back of your vault suit, staining the baby blue with a deep chasm of dark red. With a weakened hand, you snatch a few rounds of .32 from the ground and poke them into your pistol. The raider starts to swing again, but you pop a single shot into his heart as the knife comes down... stabbing lifeless into a rock just barely between your legs.

You wait a moment before letting that breath you're holding escape.

After a deep sigh, you toss the pistol onto the body of the fallen leader. You stand up. Check the bodies, and find just a few more rounds for guns you don't have. But, you place a trio of .32 into your hunting rifle's magazine, and tip toe past the corpses on your way into the sunset.

Just drag and drop your handy new Fook 2 - NPC Ammo Use .esp into your data folder, and load it AFTER ALL OTHER fook.esm/esps.

Install: Drop into Fallout3/DATA folder.

Activate: In FOMM, load this .esp AFTER all of your other FOOK2 esm/esps - this file does not overwrite entries, but alters them.

Purpose: to make Fook 2 NPCs Use ammo with their weapons, running out of ammo just like the player does. It makes ammo more rare, and firefights shorter.

For added realism: Use in conjunction with an increased damage mod to make gunfights a truly deadly and dangerous engagement meant to be avoided, rather than sought out.

Uninstall: Remove from Data folder, with no adverse effects noted.

Issues:

- NPCs run out of ammo too fast.

- Some weapons will not use ammo no matter what.

- Conflicts with any mod that alters weapon stats, unless it is loaded LAST in your order.

- No FOSE support as of yet, so a lot of my ideas I can't implement.
