(Prenote: Hot damn, 7z's amazing! I just compressed a 45.6 MB folder into 1.45 MB! I feel like a god!)

With the release of static07's Reflex Armor S-07 retexture came the realization that I needed to play with that darn arm cannon to match it. I'm not much of a texture artist, so this was all kind of fun experimenting for me.

Although Static mentioned it being from Ling's Finer Things, the original mesh came from Mantis' Zero Suit mod. That being said, if you want to have the arm cannon, make sure you're using Mantis' Zero Suit mod.

INSTALL


1. Extract the file to a temporary directory, like your desktop.

2. Pick a color!

3. Grab all the files in the preferred folder and dump them into your "Fallout 3\Data\textures\Mantis\MantisZeroSuit" directory. Overwrite like a fiend. Use the textures in the scouter folder if you want to replace the default scouter "screen" with a paler version.

NOTE: Follow similar steps for installing static7's Reflex textures too: just grab them up and place them in the same folder as above. Doing so will replace the default bluish textures. You might need to delete a glowmap or two. Don't quite remember. Guess you'll find out.

Reinstall Mantis Zero Suit Samus to replace the textures.

SPECIAL NOTES

Make sure when downloading Primantis' mod that you pick the normal one as opposed to the noglow one. Otherwise the cannon will be quite boring.

LICENSING/LEGAL
Do whatever floats your fancy with these textures as long as you credit myself and Primantis. Just don't go uploadin' this entire mod somewhere else without my permission. ie don't repackage the mod elsewhere. Be a little creative. Make them brown. Wear them as a coat. Have fun with them. Don't care. Send me a note if you end up using something here. You don't have to, but it's a nice gesture. I like seeing my junk getting used.
