Bobbleheads: NoBoost


This small mod removes the stat boosting effect from all the bobbleheads in the game.
I also updated the messages you recieve when picking them up.

The bobbleheads still remain in the game and can be collected as usual.
When you find them you will now only get the messages with the "wise quotes".

This mod only alters the scripts for the bobblehead effects and the respective messages,
so there should not be any conflicts so long as you don't use any mod that changes their behaviour (like movable Bobbleheads).

I always felt that the game is really throwing too many stat and skill points at you, making it too easy to become an all-rounder.
This mod adds well to anything that already reduces received skill points and the like.
I haven't found any mod that already does exactly the same as this and I didn't mean to copy anyone's work if there already is one.

Installation: Just copy the .esp file to your ...\Data folder and activate it using the launcher of fomm.
Remove it to uninstall.


Note: The bobblehead script includes a one-time alteration to your stats.
If you install this mod after already having found one your stats will NOT change back.
Also if you uninstall it you will NOT get the stat boost for bobbleheads you found while the mod was active.
You would need to use the console to correct your stats in those cases, if you wanted to.
