1: Introduction

This mod includes 3 esp's in case you only wanted to make 1 of the 3 npc's less overpowered. Now I want to stress this as much as possible. Please, please, back up your save games... maybe even back up your game files because this is my first mod and I haven't done a full play through using the mod and the last thing I want is to mess up your game.

Now first of all I'd like to thank you for giving my mod a try. This mod was origionally what I created for personnal use and I decided that I might as well upload it because other people might enjoy it also.

Basically what this mod does is 'fix' some NPC's in Fallout 3 namely the NPC's added by the Broken Steel DLC:

The Albino Radscorpion
The Super Mutant Overlord
The Feral Ghoul Reaver

Now you're probably sitting there thinking what is wrong with them, I haven't noticed anything wrong with them. Well, like I said before this was my personnel mod. What it's actually fixing is the amount of health the added NPC's have.

Here's a comparision:

1. Albino Radscorpion's usually have 1500 and they now have 500 HP.(Giant Radscorpions have 350 HP)
2. Super Mutant Overlords usually have 1250 HP and they now have 500 HP. (Super Mutant Masters have 360 HP)
3. Feral Ghoul Reavers usually have 1100 HP and they now have 450 HP. (Glowing Ones have 240 HP)

As you can see they still have quite a bit of HP in comparision to a lower 'version' of them.

The reason I think they needed fixing is because I don't know about you guys but I have shot a Super Mutant Overlord with a Mini Nuke and had it walk out of the cloud with about 10% health left blasting away at me with it's Tri-Beam.

Another problem I was facing was also having Overlords spawn pretty early in the game and they were just to hard for me to kill. They spawn this early because Super Mutant Overlords and Ghoul Reavers can spawn anywhere that regular Super Mutants/Ghouls can spawn.

So like I said a little earlier, I uploaded this because I looked around for a mod that did this and I couldn't find one and maybe other people will find it useful or finally rejoice that they can kill a Overlord without having to nuke it from orbit. Something along those lines =P.

2: Installation

This mod requires Fallout 3 and the Broken Steel DLC pack.

a. To install, first you will want to unzip the file to somewhere on your harddrive or your desktop.

b. Open it up and copy the esp's you would like to use to your data folder it should look something like this c:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Fallout 3/Data

c. Now all you need to do is open your Fallout 3 launcher and click Data Files and make sure the esps are checkmarked.

d. Launch the game and enjoy.

As far as I know there is no compatability issues in my testings which like I said before isn't a full play through so back up your save games. The only problems that may arrise is if you try to use this mod with another mod that does the same thing or in some way edits the stats of the npc's affected by my mod. You have been warned =P!

3: Ending Notes

TroubleShooting:

If you're unsure whether or not it's working or if you have installed it correctly here is one way I know of that you can use to test it.

Load any save game and go out into an open area, preferebly without any other NPC's around. Open up your console by pushing the tilde (~) key and type:

player.placeleveledactoratme xx001041 1

(Please note that the xx part of xx001041 needs to be replaced with either 02, 03, 04, or 05 just try them all until it works.)

What this should do is spawn a Super Mutant Overlord close to you. What you need to do now is just shoot at it. If you notice that you can kill them way more easily than you could before then everything is working fine! If... it's still taking a million bullets and maybe even a nuke from space to kill one then something horribly wrong has happened.

Well I hope you enjoy this mod and you don't have any problems installing it and what nots. If you decide you would like to use this mod in your mod please feel free to do so. Just maybe give me credit or something. You also have my permission to disect this thing and do with it what you will.

And last but not least. Please don't hold me responsible if this mod should happen to break your save games / game. I did warn you in the very beginning of this Readme that this is my first mod and that I haven't tested the mod with a full playthrough yet.
