About this image
With the pack brahmin laden with supplies and the Mister Gutsy Fully charged, the caravan headed out to the Big Bazaar. The route there involved a lot of rocky terrain, which made for many ideal hiding spots for raiders, slavers, cannibals, and more to ambush unsuspecting travelers.
Fortunately for Seamus, he was the suspicious type, and hired Red-Eye for that very reason. Ranging ahead of the caravan, she knew all the tricks in spying out other people on or near the trail. The first day's search managed to find no recent signs of anyone or anything out there. It turned out to be a quiet day.
Things within the caravan itself, however, were not all fun and games. Miguek was the kind of guy who prided himself on being able to push people's buttons whenever he wanted. On more than one occasion, he tempted fate with his taunts to Seamus and the guards. His favorite target, however was little Mary Ann. He constantly whispered in her ear the things he intended to do to her when he got free of the ropes binding him - things that scared her stiff. At one point, Ginger shoved her way between in order to keep the former raider away from the other girl.
With night falling Red-Eye found a good spot for the caravan and rest. Tomorrow would be their first stop in thir trip.

Nice, very well written once again.
nice scene
Fixed.
Quiet days are good. You just don't want to many in a row, as you might loose your edge.
