About this mod

Finding firearms underwelming? Annoyed that the Korek and the EXPCalibur are only good for a few minutes? Not anymore! Buffed firearms and repairable dev weapons!

Tired of cool weapons that break in seconds? Of boring guns that deal next to no damage? Want a quick and easy solution? Look no further!

I've been finding as I've been playing that guns are, if anything, really underpowered. To that end, I've doubled the strength of both pistols and the police rifle. The shotgun I've left as is.

Additionally, the EXPCalibur and Korek are super fun to play with, but not all that convenient to use, with limited durability and no repairs. I've altered it so that the EXPCalibur does a bit more damage to make it worthwhile to use, and I've increased the durability to 40 so you can actually use it. It was never THAT overpowered in any event, with measly damage and nearly no uses. I've left the Korek's damage as is, as the two are roughly comparable.

More importantly, both the Korek and the EXPCalibur are now reparable, allowing you to use them both as you would a normal weapon. Higher tier weapons found in the city and in stores will eventually outclass both. Personally, I've had more fun using regular weapons, but these are here in case you want to goof around with the easter egg weapons.

To Install: The RAR contains a data folder that you need to extract to My Documents/DyingLight. Do not put the data folder in My Documents/DyingLight/out, as  altering the Dying Light Manager's settings will erase everything in the out folder and the mod does not need to be in that folder to function properly anyway.

To make mods work with 1.4 just zip up the data folder and everything under it. Rename it to Data3.pak and replace the one in your Dying Light\DW Steam folder. Rename the old one if you want. This may change again in the future. Techland basically broke mods with this weekend's patch and didn't provide any info on what the "official" mod support is supposed to be.

Note: This mod will conflict with any other mod that makes changes to inventory_gen.scr or inventory_special.scr. I am, however, more than happy to make any compatibility patches that may be required. Just point me to a conflicting mod and I'll see if I can't make the two work together.
