All base player ships start with three extra giant cargo bays, providing them with the full 64 inventory slots upon starting a new game.

What does this mod do?

In the base game, a new player starts out with 16 cargo bay (i.e. inventory) slots, which can quickly fill up given the large amount of loot drops. You can occasionally find other cargo bays as loot drops, but these occur so randomly that it can be a lengthy amount of game time before you have a reasonable cargo capacity, especially in the aftermath of large battles.

For those who do not want to be subject to this limitation, this mod adds to the starting equipment for all new (base race) ships three giant cargo bays, starting the ship out with the maximum capacity of 64 inventory slots. Additional cargo bays still drop as normal for use in the player and shared stashes.

How do I install this?

To install this mod, place the downloaded file (startcargo64.zip) directly in the Assets folder within the Drox Operative directory (on a Mac, this is most likely under Applications, on a PC, this is most likely under Program Files (x86)). To install the add-on file for the Scavenger class in the Invasion of the Ancients, place that file (scavcargo64.zip) within the Expansions/Exp1/Assets directory within the Drox Operative folder.

Note: Do not expand or unzip the archive - simply place it in the appropriate directory. The game will look inside the zip file and process the enclosed mod when the game is opened.
