About this mod

From simply upgrading the existing textures to completely re-designing some, I'll try and bring as many simple re-textures as possible until some larger group releases their official stuff.

ADDED 2K GROUND TEXTURES AS OPTIONAL FILE
COVERS ONLY THE AREA AROUND YOUR HOMETOWN
VERY EARLY IN THE DEVELOPMENT SO EXPECT BUGS (mixed textures, pop-ins etc.,)
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACK-UP READY IN CASE SOMETHING GOES HORRIBLY WRONG
WORKS ONLY IF TEXTURES ARE SET ON HIGH
Some textures are just up-scaled & hand-touched while some are completely new

Installation: Extract the file and copy it into nativePC/rom/stage/stage100/area
MAKE SURE YOU BACK-UP THE ORIGINAL FILE

HOW WILL UPDATES WORK NOW: 
Since the 2nd semester started (and since I'm not really an honor student), my personal updates will slow down tremendously. Maybe once a week/2 weeks at best. If you'd like to contribute, please follow the tutorial that I made on how to re-texture the Dragon's Dogma and send me the end results if you want to . If it's acceptable, I'll add it with the main files and obviously credit you. Again, sorry for slow updates, but I am just one man and this is my first ever experience with modding a game.


CURRENT STATE

At the moment, I'm mainly focusing on re-texturing weapons to give them more flare and more "flamboyant" look. From the starting weapons, where I only add/change a few things so that they aren't as dull, to the late-game ones where I usually put in far more effort into making them worthwhile (aesthetically at least). Alongside weapons I'm obviously modifying shields with the same mindset while trying to keep them all as lore-friendly as possible. In addition, I'll also start modifying more armors but this will take a while as I need to do both female & male version so please be patient with them. I plan on updating mod on daily/bi-daily basis so your support is very much appreciated as well as your suggestions.

FUTURE PLANS

In future, as I slowly finish up with textures of weapons & armors I plan to tackle other textures as well - ground, rocks, walls, trees, grass, sky, etc. as well as more enemies. I might include a few enemy re-textures here and there but that isn't my priority at the moment. With the eventual end, I plan to transform the world of Dragon's Dogma into more of a high-fantasy type of a realm rather than bordering that line of realism & fantasy. As for anything other beside re-texturing (adding additional 3rd party items and such), I'll look into it but you shouldn't expect much from me in that department.

Yes, you can do whatever you want with them for the personal use. If you plan on sharing them elsewhere or modifying and then sharing, please do give a credit at least, although I won't bite if you don't. I think.
