*** UPDATE REGARDING TRESPASSER - Sister Nightingale is now optimized for use with DLC. Just switch out her usual model for Shiny Happy Leliana, and watch with wonder as your DLC fails to crash! ***
So I was galloping through my most recent (final, canon) playthrough, and feeling pretty good about life in Thedas, until... Leliana. Suddenly, there she was - except, she wasn't.
Now obviously, poor Leliana has been through the wringer since her starry-eyed, optimistic youth in Origins. At least a decade has passed since those giddy days, and Ol' Father Time is generally accepted to be the worst beautician ever. Which is why I found it a bit disturbing that Leliana didn't actually look any older; she didn't, in fact, look anything like Leliana. Both Morrigan and Alistair look fab for their age, but they have clearly aged. Our favourite bard, on the other hand, apparently spent her Left Hand years kicking about with the Kardashians, getting all kinds of filler injected into all kinds of places.
T'was most perplexing.
So, despite my absolute determination to quit bloody modding already, I decided to make one more foray into Modville, just for Sister Nightingale. For old times' sake, y'know? And here's what I came up with:
Leliana, the Nightingale.
Our wee ginger firecracker still has her luminous complexion and fiery locks, but this mod lends a few subtle touches to suggest the passage of time, reduces the overdone makeup, and gives our fair Orlesian spy queen a tasteful smattering of freckles.
Nightingale is a stand-alone mod (no other downloads are required). Any other mods that tweak Leliana's face (or teeth) will probably conflict with this one. Clothing mods, hair mods, eye mods, etc should work just fine. Please feel free to contact me if you need assistance.
