Pandemonium Difficulty Setting

This mod affects "Nightmare" setting in all single player content including DLCs.  It does not affect any other difficulty setting  It has no effect on Multiplayer.

"Your journey ends."

When was the last time you saw that? If you can't remember then maybe this mod might help.  Maybe you want to craft the best gear and still get some challenge out of the combat.

This mod beefs up most of the factors that contribute to making nightmare difficulty setting tougher than hard or normal. Enemies will be tougher, move faster, have shorter ability cool-downs and hit for much more damage. If using trials, they'll be much more likely to be promoted.

Even if you've crafted uber gear you should notice an improvement but it's high level characters (level 16+) that will notice the most difference as the benefits of high level gear will start to get outweighed by the increasing toughness of the enemies.

Obviously combining this with mods designed to make the game easier will defeat the purpose. This is designed to be a playable mod, not something overly punishing for the lulz.

Still not hard enough?

Warning: Requires a little technical knowledge - only a little though.

I've uploaded a screenshot of the configuration script in the daimod. With a reasonable editor like Notepad++ you can open the mod and make some changes. Do NOT use Windows Notepad or you will damage the mod file.

The values I've underlined in red are the upper limits I've set. Be careful with setting them too high as you can break things. Enemy cooldown already has a minimum of zero so don't change that and trials promote chance has a maximum of 1 which means all enemies have a chance of being promoted so I wouldn't change that either.

Make sure you preserve the floating point format (the ".0f" bit) and don't alter the lower limits.
