About this mod

A set of aging headmorphs for all Hawke family presets.

QUICK EDIT: Now with the option to download each family member's files individually, in case you really hate one or you have a morph downloaded for one you really don't want to change or w/ever.

I like the mod-based immersion of time passage. I also like being able to play a custom Hawke without having my family looking 20 shades lighter than me. So: a mod that allows for time passage for any Hawke family - and, included in that, some corrections on the visible age of family members, i.e. Making Carver Not Look Older Than Gamlen and Making Gamlen Not Look Older Than Elthina. Side effect being that some versions of Gamlen are now...weirdly attractive. Sacrifices we make for lore immersion. Comparison images of vanilla characters vs their morphs for each act are in the images!

This is something of a "stage 1" for a Series of Other Hawke Family Adjustments, because I'm a nerd who loves the twins a lot and drags myself through the other two for their sake. I have...a number of plans for more I want to do with this concept, some more complicated and in need of preparation than others. But since I have a few different ways I'd like to update it, if something specific is requested, I will probably do that update first. If nothing is called for, then they'll just kind of...happen as they happen, so that'll be fun times. What I'm saying is, if there's a specific update you want to see, feel free to request it!

These morphs will conflict with any other of these characters' headmorphs! Making a version that works with some of the more popular texture and morph changes is one of the planned updates, so if you're holding out for it, maybe drop a line so I know which ones I need to look at working with.

Installation

Download and unzip "hawke family aging.zip". There are three .erf files - act 1, act 2, and act 3. Drop one of them into mydocuments/bioware/dragonage2/packages/core/override. If you drop multiple in, they WILL conflict and it'll probably...well, it probably will just show you the vanilla game.
