Okay, the 1.2 version has now been confirmed to work for everyone! I also fixed it so that the line about Dog jumping on the bed will play if no one has been romanced. Please download and enjoy, and feel free to submit your own images! (Seriously, please, it's just going to be The M!Handers Show otherwise b/c he's the only romance I've completed)
Edited to add: Oh, yeah, duh, nude mods! I actually hadn't realized that DA2 had any good nude mods yet due to the limitations of mesh editing until about this time last year, but apparently there are some I missed. I absolutely welcome you to use this mod with them, and will accept SFW pictures with this, but I am afraid that I do not accept NSFW pictures on an otherwise SFW mod in order to avoid getting this filtered out as adult content. I don't want my search results to be limited when the base mod itself is work-safe. Sorry!
Hello, and welcome to the first version of the Repeatable Romance Scenes mod!
Installation: Place "Repeatable Romance Scenes V1.erf" into your Override folder. If you do not know where your "Override" folder is, it is found under the same Dragon Age 2 folder that stores your user data (this is the same Dragon Age 2 folder where any screenshots taken in-game will be stored). This will usually be found in your "My Documents" or "Documents" folder, in the "Bioware" folder, and is NOT the one found under your Program Files. This should be the case for both Macs and PCs, but if you have wound up with an alternate filepath, try to find your in-game screencaps folder and navigate up to the "Dragon Age 2" folder. Once you are in this folder, go into "packages", then "core". There should already be a folder named "override" in here; if there is none, and are sure you are in the right location, you may create one. Once in the "override" folder, you can just paste the files there. If you are upgrading from the v 1 version, you MUST delete the previous version of this mod; however, you do not have to run the uninstaller, as this only replaces the core files used in the mod.
Uninstallation: Delete the file.
Features: This mod adds four repeatable romance scenes for each of the in-game love interests, three shared among all LIs and one unique to each. Scenes may be activated by interacting with the bed in the Hawke Estate after the romance has been confirmed (meaning after Anders and Merrill have moved in with you in Act 2, after Isabela's and Fenris's romances have been confirmed after their Act 3 quests, or after Sebastian proposes.) The activated scene will be random and may occasionally result in the same scene playing several times in a row, as I don't have a better way to control multiple scenes playing at this time. This mod overrides the usual line fired off when interacting with the bed even before any romance has been confirmed, so sorry if you really liked hearing about how Dog keeps jumping on the bed.
Agenda for Subsequent Release: First of all, these scenes do have a few small clipping issues - I was severely restricted in terms of how much I was able to do with the base cutscenes an animations, and I'd love to eventually get some custom animations, fix the clipping issues and add some more in. Beyond that, you may also notice your Hawke and love interest appearing in random places throughout the Estate after each scene runs. There's... really nothing I can do about that right now, sorry - whatever is used to control their post-cutscene positioning doesn't seem to really correlate with the positioning used anywhere else and my best trial and error has gotten me nowhere.
Notes: I also have included the source .nss file used for this in case anyone would like to reference it. Also, the 1.2 version may result in odd behavior in the extremely rare circumstance in which you flirt with Sebastian, finish his Act 3 Questioning Beliefs quest without confirming his romance, and don't romance anyone else, so, uh, don't do that. Literally every other scenario should work without a hitch though.
Permissions: If you can make this work better, go for it, just as long as you give me credit!
