Given that WoT says that Karl and Anders were apprentices together, I thought it would make more sense if Karl looks closer to Anders' age, rather than 20 years older. If he'd really been an apprentice for that long, you'd think the Chantry would've had him made Tranquil earlier, right? Hopefully this will take away some of the squick of them being exes too.
Removes Karl's beard and replaces his grey hair with black.
