Update 12/3/2017: Updated by request to include a version utilizing Ellise's beautiful free-to-modify-with-credit Unique Face Textures for DA2 Companions (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/3930). And seriously, all credit to Ellise. They're amazing, and my only contribution is slapping a tattoo mask on top of it. So even if my mod isn't your thing I highly recommend downloading that original mod because it makes a huge difference playing the game.
I will admit, I have not tested them in-game since I lost all of my files and haven't had a chance to do another play-through. But I see no reason why they shouldn't work.
FOR INSTALLATION: Choose only 1 main file. If you would like Merrill restored to her origins skin tone, choose 1 optional file and replace Merrill's .erf file from the original.

Update 5/21/2016: All party members now available. Every morph has been updated so please re-download.
Changes include adding the war paint to all the twins' files and not just the default. Aveline now has her freckles back that I accidentally replaced in the original file. For everyone I tweaked the tattoo parameters slightly so the paint would blend a little nicer with their skin.
I've also included an optional file for Merrill that uses her original skin tone from DA:O. All companions now have war paint added to their vanilla textures.
At this point I'm considering this mod finished, but if anyone has a non-vanilla morph they use that they would like to put the war paint on I would be happy to put up a tutorial on how to do it yourself so even if you use a special .mor you can have everyone in the paint. It's a simple process that should take less than five minutes even if you're unfamiliar with modding .mor files. Basically, if you want it drop me a line because I'm a lazy creature at heart and won't do it otherwise.

Made this for someone who wanted to put Hawke's streak of red war paint on Anders. Per request I've added Isabela as well. Then I figured I might as well just do the whole set so you can have whoever you want. I'll update as I finish each companion. Currently I have Anders, Isabela, Varric, Aveline, Fenris, and Sebastian and default Carver and Bethany.
Update: Merrill is now added. I am working on all the other Carver/Bethany .mor files so you don't necessarily have to have the default twins but I don't have too much time. But they're in the works.
