Summary
The first time I played Legacy, I really wanted to like The Hawke's Key. The meshes are badass, it has history with Malcolm, and I love that you can customize its stats, but there's no way around it: the gold is fugly. It clashes with any armour (especially the Mantle of the Champion for warriors) and just sticks out like a eyesore. Well, no more! Every model's diffuse and specular has been tweaked, turning all gold accents into silver while leaving all the red gems (like on the staff and longsword) untouched.
Notes
You must have the Legacy DLC to use this mod; be aware that you'll see the default gold textures in Legacy's pre-rendered scenes, but otherwise they will appear as they should.
It's not required, but I highly recommend using varricsretelling's mod "Exaggerated Intro Options" to use one of the class-specific Keys as Hawke's fake starter weapon.
