About this mod

This is a file that Fixes and upgrades blood magic aswell as some other magic.

Permissions and credits
This Mod Empowers Blood magic mainly but some other spells aswell and balances some other things that seemed overpowered.

Install: put the files into your C:/origin games/Dragon Age II/Packages/Core/Override folder.

Generic magic changes
-------------------------------

All spells now have no level or point requirements, they simply act like talent tree's so you dont have to get 3 spells you dont want just to get another the only restriction you have to follow is the tree's path ofcourse so it now acts like a proper talent tree.

All sustain effect visuals now only activate in combat so you can keep them on and not look ridiculous walking about.

Spell Changes
---------------------

Stone Wall: cooldown is 5 seconds longer so it cant be spammed as much seeing as it is 5 secs of invulnerability. (The only warrior ability changed not to worry)

Haste: is now twice as strong making you attack 100% faster up from 50% but its cooldown is doubled to 120 seconds.

Arcane Barrier: lasts 10 seconds up from 6

Stone Flesh: now acts as a stone skin so you don't have that ridiculous giant armor effect around during combat.

Spirit Bolt: the upgrade now reduces the cooldown by 5 seconds (reasoning is that spirit bolt really is a garbage spell so this makes it more like a spammable arcane bolt as it was intended to be)

Death Siphon: Now picks up a body every 2 seconds instead of every 8 seconds so its actually useful.

Fireball: Fireballs damage has been increased by 3x since its the weakest spell by a longshot, this just brings it up to the same level as all the other spells.

Tempest: Tempests damage has now been buffed by about 2.5x times and strikes every 3 seconds (down from 4) its still weaker than firestorm but not ridiculously weaker now (before it couldn't even kill a group of minion level enemies on casual =/ )

Galvanism: Now Increases all of the primal tree by 30% (up from 25%)

Blood Magic: Has a beautiful new effect.(its sustain cooldown is also now 5 down from 20 secs and its sustain is 20% mana down from 50%)

Sacrifice: now does great damage to the enemy and heals you instead of using it on your allies (the description looks odd but it works I just cant change spell descriptions)

Grave Robber: is now a 25 second cooldown down from 45 seconds.

Blood Slave: should properly work now and dominate people that are able to be controlled (doesnt work in base DA2) the explosion may be delayed by 2-3 seconds sometimes ( Upgraded from base DA2 where it simply didn't work)

Hemorrhage: 100% (up from 50%) chance to paralyze now with the upgrade.

TIPS: At level 10 reset your talent points and get full grave robber and one point in hemorrhage to get blood magic kicked off early and use your money for talent point+ books.

People say you need willpower to wear mage items but with attribute increasing items I've literally only found myself having to put about 1-3 points in willpower tops wasting 20 attribute points on the (best item) when its only a little better than the 2nd best isn't worth it.

Put most of your points into Constitution and the rest into magic about 70%/30% and you'll be nigh invulnerable and it increases the damage of your grave robber.

Most blood magic spells reduce your enemies armor and magic resistance to 0% against them, on nightmare many enemies have at least 30-50% resistance to all elements and a lot have 80-100% on others, Qunari are straight out immune to fire and lightning and 50% resistant to spirit, so this makes even base DA blood magic very powerful.

Most of your damage in general comes from your weapon and very little in magic points, though you shouldn't ignore it its worth remembering, test points and see for yourself.

Load up all your companions and your own runes slots with rune of fortune you get at the black emporium it seriously increases your money earnings.

Get DarkSlayer666TheRaven blood magic item mod to fix the mana/health conversion back to before patch 1.03, I was gonna put it in here I guess I coulda just also remade it myself in a couple mins but whats the point =/ I couldn't find permissions so go get it there.
