Hello, I've created this mod for all the people who either
a)got bored with the original look and couldnt play the game again
b)didnt like original look of the game

It is quite massive in scope so I've also created an installation proces that allows you either
to:
a)install all of it quickly
b)install just the parts you like (there are screenshots provided for every single file so you would know
what you are installing plus you can check check reasons/lore explanation in the description for
changes for extra roleplay feel )

Installation
a)Fast install
put everything from the allinoneinstall in you Override folder like this:
C:\Program Files\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override
(this is default folder)

b)Manual install
Each folder contains diffrent folders
1)NPCs ReDesigned
(Divided in categories like mages/teplars/neutral each contains specyfic new heads for NPCs)
2)Companions ReDesigned
(Changes in each filder -like andres folder contains anders new head and armour set)
3)Darkspawn ReDesigned
(Hurolck and Ogre retexture plus blighted land retexture in one package)
4)Kirkwall ReDesigned - 3 folers for lowtown,hightown and gallows, textures are used in many places
(fe. many textures from hightown are recognised by the game as gallows textures) so I advise installing them all
5)templars armour - templars and clerics armour retexture
6)home robes - home clothes retexture

Companions ReDesigned






-Aveline:
Changed her face - she really looked horrible, kept red hair (changed the colour and style though). Tested her
she looks good even in her 'clumsy' situations.

-Isabela:
Changed her face - I *hated* the old one. New Isabella looks cute and spunky - the way I imagined her
as a character - cute face, pretty eyes and red hair to match her character. Totally romancable now :)


-Sebastian
He was a truly horrible 'we just want more dlc cash' character - I completely changed his face for
hunkier and tougher look and changed his armour so he looks like ... well like a prince not a whiny
child.


-Anders
Changed his face to represent his change in his character from Awakening times
One: he a little older face - due to fact that he merged with a angry spirit of justice which I think
should be a taxing experience for humans body plus to represent the fact that he is both a mage
and a grey warden runaway which is not an easy life
Changed his robes (both sets) for darker look.

-Merril (use with keeper npc head for lore compatibility)
Changed her face to make her look more ... lifelike. It actually took some time, but now
One: One she looks both youg and pretty as suitable for her character
Two: Has new violet tatoos and lips which do not cover har face as the old ones did plus further show
her diffrent and distinct role in dalish society as the First of clan Keeper (violet is usually asociated
with power).
Keeper was changed accordingly - meaning both the tatoos and lips.
Changed both her robes set - first one is a litttle darker second one is both darker and violet not blue.


-Fenris
I always liked this character very much but this white hair emo look ... bothered me a little. So his new face
was created in order to make him look much tougher and seasoned.
One: He has dark skin now - due to fact that he and his siter ar dark-skinned elves now (if there are
dark skinned people I dont know why there should be no dark skinned elves - some new npc elves have dark skin too)
Two:He has short hair - he does not seem a character tha cares about his apperance and short hair
are very easy to manage and more suitable for a warrior.
Three:He has tatooed his face to make his lyrium tatoos less distinctive - its easy for a slaver to look
for a lirum-veined warrior, just tatood one less so.

[use with his sister head for skin colour balance; sisters folder name : vanariafenris in NPCs Redesigned-Elves]


-Varric
I actually like his look very much - for the sake of fresh look I just changed his hair and facial hair to
dark red, his eyes to green and made little changes with face structure to make him look more like a
dashing rogue
Changed his armour a little - now its darker and a *little* more diverse.

-Carver
Since he looks diffrent depending on your changes in the creation screen I did not include a new face but
I did change his armour colours due to fact that in the last one looked like peasants clothing and he's
supposed to *just* have run away from King Calains army isnt he?





Darkspawn ReDesigned






I really didnt like the 'new look' of our favorite evil little creatures so I changed them to make them look
much more scary and evil. Changes include both Hurlocs(human looking ones) and Ogres(decendant from quinari)

Hurlocs
One: changed their skin for a darker look and more zombie-monster like apperance
Two: Created Glowin eyes for scarier look - plus since they are magical in nature there should be
somethin completely unnatural about them

Ogre:
One: Changed skin for darker look, plus gave them quinari violet/purple skintone since they are supposed to
be created from them.
Two: Glowing eyeas alre also included here - but of a diffrent type than Hurloc ones to avoid copy-paste look

Terrain:
Simple darker terrain - first one looked strange



NPCs ReDesigned





Knght Commander Meredith
Changed her look so she would look more ... well human but still firm and tough. She still looks a little old
but in a better way plus her hair was changed for something more suitable for a warrior she is.

Orsino
Acording to lore desription he is supposed to be youngest First Enchaner in Thedas so I changed
him accordingly - his hairstyle remains but hair colour changed to dark brown (hard to imagine a rebel
with gray hair isnt it?) plus changed his face structure for a more 'I fought the law' look

Viscount and Saemus(his son)
Changed Viscount to make him look more powerful - white hair is now dark, machiavelli beard is added and face
structure is changed. Saemus is also changed (he lookend really, really bad) now he looks like a rulers son
both in terms of looks and family resemblence

Gascard
Changed his face for a more 'hispanic' look and made him a little shady since he is a confirmed bloodmage

Hubert
Mage him better looking and gave him a much more shady look

Kirkwall







Cities in middleages never were pretty - they were diry, they were filthy and with exception of palaces
and temples they had no people or groups resposible for changing or even managing that problem. Not to mention
the fact that Kirkwall was build by dwarfes who were much more technologically advanced and intended for
the Tevinter magisters who could have hundreds of slaves clean it every day so once they had to
move there logicly should be a downfall in the overall look of the city.

So here is darker, dirtier and more realistic Kirkwall - palaces and temples are diffrent but still clean,
Hightown and Gallows feel old as they should - but due to viscounts and templars efforts they still
representative. But this is where it ends - Docs are dark, nobles do not care about luxury of
the sailors, Lowtownd is dark and dirty a place where peasants see where they place in medevial life is and
darktown ... darktown is not a place anyone wants to live in.

Deep Roads ReDesigned







Here comes a change in Deep Roads climate - as a thousands of years old structure populated by Darkspawn
for the last few centuries I found new Deep Roads a little to pretty and clean. Its supposed to be a dark and
scary place, a place of fear and monsters where when you stomp into something you dont look down to see what
that was because theres a good chance you do not want to know.

And so here you go - Deep Roads ReDesigned a broken Dwarfen dream.

RECOMMENDED to be used with new Darkspawn - ones in original file or requested brown version - for that extra 'OMG
what the hell was that thing in the corner?!?' feel :)

Nature ReDesigned







Ok so up till now all I gave you is darker look so for nature redesign (complete change in nature textures -
leaves, grass, trees, lillies, rocks, ground and so on) Ive chosen climatic Autumn Look - leaves are red
grass is decaying in crimson, rocks and ground are changed to look better and to match the new look.
ReDesign COMPLETELY changes nature textures in game - meaning the autumn look will affect not only soundermount
bone pit or random forest areas but also trees and bushes and all other plants in Kirkwall or any other place in
game (meaning even plants in caves - autumn means autumn after all).
Without further ado I give you - Nature ReDesigned :)






Known Glithes
-Varric has his old look for first 4-5 sec of the game
-Isabella looks strange for about 3 sec when she 'comes back'
