A Warden's Sacrifice (or Salvation)


The mod adds a cutscene after the death of the archdemon showing the fate of the warden if either Leliana or Zevran are 'in love' with a warden of any race, origin or gender or if Alistair is 'in love' with a female warden of any race or origin. 

***Please note that this mod has not been tested to the degree I would like, meaning not all scenarios for all companions have been tested in game.

Conditions
********************

The 'sacrifice' cutscenes will play if: 

• Leliana is 'in love' with a warden of any race, origin or gender who sacrifices themselves to kill the archdemon. 
  

• Zevran is 'in love' with a warden of any race, origin or gender who sacrifices themselves to kill the archdemon. 
  

• Alistair is 'in love' or 'still in love' with a female warden of any race or origin and either of them sacrifice themselves to kill the archdemon. 
  

The 'salvation' cutscenes will play if: 

• Leliana is 'in love' with a warden of any race, origin or gender and someone performs Morrigan's ritual. 
  

• Zevran is 'in love' with a warden of any race, origin or gender and someone performs Morrigan's ritual. 
  

• Alistair is 'in love' wth a female warden of any race or origin and he performs Morrigan's ritual. 
  

Please note: The 'in love' companion must be in the final party that confronts the archdemon.

Installation
********************

Download, extract and place into the override folder at C:/Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/override.

To un-install, remove from override.

Compatibility
********************

The mod uses a version of 'clipt_archdemon.nss/ncs'. If having issues with the scene playing make sure there are no other copies of this file in override. 

The mod is not compatible with A Hero's Sacrifice by kianta405. 

Testing indicates that the mod may be compatible with Alistair's Funeral by kianta405 but that has not been confirmed. 

The mod is compatible with Alistair's Revised Romance by me and Fort Drakon Kiss by DahliaLynn.

Known Issues
********************

Massive armor and big hair clip. 

If using ported armor, especially that from DA2, there might be clipping with the hands. 

At times, companions may get 'stuck' in a combat animation during the cutscene. 

If you do not kill all the darkspawn on the rooftop before killing the archdemon, there might be a few of them standing about, directionless and without purpose, during the scene. In addition, casualties of the battle could interfere with the scene.
