Unique Jewelry Icons ~ Rings

General Information

I didn't like how every piece of jewelry in the vanilla game used the exact same icons. Very, very few exceptions exist (such as Key to the City, or some of the companion specific items like Runic Worry Token). I didn't like this so I spent a few weeks making new ones. I was originally wanting to do all rings, amulets and belts. I then wasn't sure belts would be worth it and decided to at least do rings and amulets. Then most of the way through rings, I broke my pinky finger. So amulets are off the table for now.. but in the future, if I get the itch to do this again, I will do the amulets.

This is ONLY for vanilla rings, and ONLY for enchanted ones. Random loot rings, like "silver ring" that have no additional stats were not altered. I would have liked to also do the Wedding Ring from the City Elf origin.. and maybe I will some day, but for right now.. I did the actual enchanted stuff. This is only vanilla. No Awakening rings or rings from other DLC.

This would pretty much conflict with any other mod that changes/alters other vanilla rings.

1.0: I done made it.
2.0: zanderb14 fixed my major bug from the first version. I have credited him at the top as a co-author. I am an amateur when it comes to DA modding and I really needed the help, so my love to him for his help.

Bugs and Feedback

If they are not showing up, let me know. This would almost certainly be caused by a conflict with another mod, as mentioned above, but let me know if this is the only jewelry mod you have installed and you run into problems. It works on my PC.

If the previous bug wherein rings would disappear persists, please tell me.

Installation

I don't know how to do all that fancy exporting and DAZIPping and stuff, so these are loose files in their own folder. Open the .rar file and then drag and drop the "RINGMOD" folder into the "Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override" folder.

If you are upgrading from previous bugged version, simply overwrite old version with new one.
