If the right conditions are met, it will add an optional cutscene to the post-coronation dialogue with Alistair, in which he will propose to a female Warden.

Alistair's Proposal
I didn't like the fact that the only way to marry Alistair was if he became king and if the Warden announced it in the middle of the Landsmeet. While that may be appropriate in certain circumstances, in others I felt it was less so. For a game that put so much effort into relationships and romance, it wasn't very romantic. I know that I expected a proposal at the end of the game if the Warden and Alistair were still together. So I made this for myself and expanded it for release.

DESCRIPTION

The mod will add an optional cutscene to Alistair's post-coronation dialogue under two sets of conditions:
First, if Alistair was *not* made king at the Landsmeet and is 'in love', meaning in an active romantic relationship and is at 'love' approval, with a female warden of any race or origin.
Second, if Alistair was made king at the Landsmeet and in 'in love', meaning in an active romantic relationship and is at 'love' approval, with a Female Human Noble and he is not engaged to Anora. The Warden can already be engaged to him, but if engaged he still must be 'in love' for the scene to trigger.
*Note* If a Female Human Noble warden did *not* get engaged to a king Alistair at the Landsmeet, the proposal in this mod will trigger the 'marriage' epilogue slides, the 'wife' dialogue in Awakening, and Dahlialynn's The Royal Wedding cutscene. It provides a true alternative to announcing the engagement at the Landsmeet.

There are generally two ways to handle this type of scene, either use existing dialogue from the game or not use any dialogue at all. Sometimes using game dialogue can work, although in my opinion, not in this case, and it's rather difficult to have a proposal without dialogue since the whole point is he 'asks' her to marry him. So I came up with a solution of sorts... I have Alistair talking, close enough to the camera that you can see him speaking, facial animations and gestures but you wouldn't be able to hear him.
The benefit to this is that the proposal can be whatever you want it to be. You can make up whatever you want him to say, whatever you think he would say or since I obviously wrote dialogue for the scene for him to lip sync, you can enable subtitles under the 'Game' tab on the game's 'Options' menu and read what I have him saying or you can simply observe the scene. It is up to you.

The cutscene will cut off the rest of Alistair's post-coronation dialogue. I can't imagine that he or the Warden would want to talk about the ritual just after or just before becoming engaged.
You do not have the option to say 'no' to the actual proposal. If you pick the dialogue option to trigger the scene you will be engaged at the end of it.

CONDITIONS

If Alistair is king, he must be 'in love', meaning in a current romantic relationship and at 'love' approval, with a female human noble, who is either his mistress or engaged to him and he must not be engaged to Anora.
If Alistair is not king, he must be 'in love' meaning in a current romantic relationship and at 'love' approval, with a female warden of any race and origin.

If certain conditions are met, there will be a new conversation option early in his post-coronation dialogue. You must select the right option to trigger the scene.
Because of the way I had to set up the conditions in the conversation, just because the new dialogue option appears does not mean all the conditions are met for the scene to trigger.

Put unzipped files into override. The mod can be installed anytime before talking to him for the first time post-coronation.
Make sure there is no other copy of 'epi_alistair.dlg' in override. Mods known to contain a copy of this file are: ZDF and IRS-A: Optional Epilogue Fixes.

This is an extended version of the proposal from a King Alistair that I made for myself. Take the files from here and place into the Main file folder and override existing files when asked.

Fergus Introduction
This mod will add a bit of extra dialogue to the conversation a Female Human Noble who is engaged to a king Alistair, has with Fergus at the coronation and an option to introduce Fergus to Alistair. This mod can be used independently of the main mod. However, if the Warden did not get engaged to Alistair at the Landsmeet, the proposal contained in the main mod will trigger the 'wedding' dialogue and make the cutscene available.
The scene between Fergus and Alistair has dialogue but no voice work and is observed from a distance. If you wish to see what is being said, you can enable subtitles. For the optional introduction, the player must select the option that they will see Fergus at the wedding and then select the introduction option.
Install: Put unzipped files into override. Remove any copies of 'epi_fergus.dlg/b' from override folder. Mods known to contain a copy of this file are: ZDF and IRS-A: Optional Epilogue Fixes.
Remove any copies of 'epi300ar_post_coronation.are' before reaching the rooftop to fight the archdemon. Mods known to contain that file are Improved Atmosphere and Flash's Creature Rescale.
Uninstall: Delete files from override.

Warden Commander: This file will put Alistair in the Warden-Commander Armor from the Warden's Keep DLC if you have that installed. The file must be placed into override prior to the coronation, meaning prior to facing the archdemon, for Alistair to wear it at the coronation.
Grey Wardens of Ferelden: This file will put Alistair in either the DA2 Legacy Heavy/Warrior armor or the Massive/Commander armor, whichever you choose, if you have the Grey Wardens of Ferelden mod installed. The file must be placed into override prior to the coronation, meaning prior to facing the archdemon, for Alistair to wear it at the coronation.
Noble Light Armors from Kirkwall Exports: This file will put Alistair in either the Noble Light Armor or the Noble Hunting Armor from Kirkwall Exports, whichever you choose, if you have the Kirkwall Exports mod installed. The file must be placed into override prior to the coronation, meaning prior to facing the archdemon, for Alistair to wear it at the coronation. This file is untested by me. Highly recommend Texture Me Like One of Your Orlesian Armours.
Duke Prosper de Montforts Armor: This file will put Alistair in the Duke Prosper de Montforts Armor from Loincloth Fashion, if you have the Loincloth Fashion mod installed. The file must be placed in override prior to the coronation, meaning prior to facing the archdemon, for Alistair to wear it at the coronation. This file is untested by me. Highly recommend Retexture of Loincloth Fashion especially the 'black' version.
*Note* If these files are used Alistair will wear the armor selected whether he is king or a warden. If king and the other conditions are met he will wear it in The Royal Wedding.

COMPATIBILITY

The mod is fully compatible with Dahlialynn's Alistair Epilogues - The Royal Wedding. If Alistair was made king at the Landsmeet and Female Human Noble did *not* get engaged to him then, the proposal in this mod will trigger the wedding scene.
The mod is also fully compatible with The Grey Warden Weddings. If Alistair was made king at the Landsmeet and a Female Human Noble did *not* get engaged to him then, the proposal in this mod 'should' trigger the wedding scene in that mod if The Royal Wedding is not installed. If Alistair was not made king at the Landsmeet, you do not have to use this mod nor do you have to pick the proposal option at the coronation for the wedding scenes from that mod to trigger. They function independently.
The mod will not work with the 'Anyone Can Marry Alistair' mod. If Alistair is king, the proposal will only be available for a Female Human Noble, even if a non-human noble is already engaged to him. I am not going to make a version that will, so please don't ask.
The mod will not work for a male warden at all whether Alistair is king or a warden, even if mods are installed that allow a male warden to have a relationship with Alistair. I am not going to make a version that will, so please don't ask.
