Concept Daggers

Weapons re-textured to look like the dagger concept art. Includes 10 daggers and 10 shortswords. These items are standalone and won't conflict with weapon replacers or rescales.

Please download The Winter Forge by Phaenan if you would like to customize the stats of the weapons.

Installation

1) Uninstall any old versions of this mod first.
2) Download and extract the .dazip file
3) Install with DAModder, or Nexus Mod Manager.

Uninstall using either DAModder or NMM (whichever one you installed with).

How to Obtain Them

These are available via the console or optionally from Bodahn's store. I've made the Bodahn's store file optional to avoid mod conflicts. The console scripts will each give you 2 daggers and 2 shortswords. You can use the scripts again to get as many as you want.

The console scripts are:
"runscript concept_all_blades" (gives ALL 20 blades)
"runscript concept_ferelden_blades" (variable low-tier)
"runscript concept_elven_blades" (tier 5)
"runscript concept_ancient_blades" (tier 6)
"runscript concept_crow_blades" (tier 7)
"runscript concept_enchanted_blades" (tier 8)

Compatibility

These are compatible with any weapon replacers or rescales. They utilize separate meshes and item variations. This mod has been tested alongside Adonnay's Weapon Replacer and Rescaled Swords and Daggers. There are no conflicts between them.

I made the dagger variations compatible with every mod included in the Item Variation ID spreadsheet by valerie1972 and theskymoves. If you find any incompatibilities, please let me know and I will release a fix.

Optional Dagger/Shortsword Placement

Inspired by "Hip-Sword-Sheath" from The Witcher 2 DAO by makara5656.

Places sheathed daggers and/or shortswords at the hip instead of on the back (see images). Some clipping may occur with armor. This file will conflict with any other BITM_base.gda file that alters daggers. Nothing game-breaking, but only one file can take precedence. If you find a conflict let me know.

To install, place the the "Hip Daggers" folder in override. To uninstall, delete the folder.

Please download "sword sheathe cutscene glitches fix" from The Witcher 2 DAO by makara5656. It works for hip-sheathed daggers/shortswords too.

Recommended Mods

Adonnay's Weapon Replacer (replaces default daggers and swords with really awesome models)
Rescaled Adonnays Daggers (shameless self-promotion)
or
Rescaled Swords and Daggers by TMP7704 (makes the default daggers and swords a more realistic sized)

CREDITS

ALL credit goes to Bioware for the original weapons. They are not my original work and do not belong to me. I just re-sized and re-textured them.
