About this mod

Improved versions of Morrigan\'s Robes, with differing stats, and UDK tint compatible.

Permissions and credits
Six different versions of Morrigan's Robe, with differing stats for differing specializations. The textures of the robe have been adjusted so that it takes Universal Dye Kit tints nicely.

(Note - UDK can be found at here)

My main reason for this mod was I wanted to keep Morrigan in her canon outfit without giving up on her having the better stats that other robes often have. I wanted her to be able to have different things being improved depending on what she was specializing in (for example, things that increase elemental damage are useless to a mage who isn't in the primal specialization). I also wanted the robe to be more compatible with UDK tints, so that it's easier to modify her look a little.

The robes, once installed, are available through the console in game, using the following scripts for each variation:
- runscript give_mort_all (gives all six of the robes)
- runscript give_mortrobe (basic robe - generalist)
- runscript give_mortd (increases defences)
- runscript give_mortc (creation specialization)
- runscript give_morte (entrophy specialization)
- runscript give_mortp (primal specialization)
- runscript give_morts (spirit specialization)

I've tried not to make the robes overpowered in what effects they have, and have tried to keep what each robes adjusts related to the field of specialization.

INSTALLATION

Unzip the file into a subdirectory of your My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override directory.

DEINSTALLATION

Delete the files.

OPTIONAL

A UDK tint file has been included with which the robe may be dyed to more closely match the untinted original robe. If you do not have or use the UDK, the robe will show up in the default tint shown in the previews.

Note that the previews include a view of the robe with the test pattern applied, so you can see what channels apply to which parts of the robe. If you would like to further tweak the tint that matches the robe to the original, the following link will take you to the Tint Creator with the definition pre-loaded: http://tinyurl.com/cvf4czb

CHANGES

March 3, 2013 - v2 release which corrects the problem with the original clothing_variation.GDA file

If you have previously downloaded v1, all that needs to be changed to upgrade to the new version is to delete the existing clothing_variation.GDA file and download the optional file supplied, which contains the revised clothing_variation_msbmort.GDA file
