======================Templar Armor Tints v2.2======================
====================================================================

This mod adds tint masks for the Templar armor and helmets in Dragon
Age: Origins & Awakening. It allows the in-game material tint system
to recognize and color all Templar armor and helmets. It is fully
compatible with any other custom tints.

I've also included six of my own tints (two of which glow) for use
in the game.

=============================
What's Included
=============================

-Tint masks for templar armor and helmets.

-Fully-tintable, glowing templar armor.

-Optional replacers for other armor and helmets in the game
(turns other massive armor and helmets into templar
variants).

-NEW TEMPLAR TINT. Changes the stock templar armor tint to my
new, custom armor tint.

-Six custom templar armor variants.

- Blood Templar Armor
- Grand Cleric's Armor (glowing)
- Mageslayer Armor (glowing)
- Shadow Templar Armor
- Templar Vanguard Armor
- Traditional Templar Armor

-All have the stats of the Knight-Commander's armor from
Origins. They are made of Volcanic Aurum (tier 9 metal).

=============================
How to get it
=============================

-Use the in-game console:

- From the console, using the "runscript" command, type
"runscript templar_tints".

Changelog
=============================

==v2.2 (09.04.2010)==

- Holy bundle, batman (no pun intended). Everything's in one,
neat little package now. No need for multiple downloads and
installs.

- Textures are compressed to about one quarter the previous
size. No more bogging down your video cards. You may see
some aliasing, but no more than is in the stock textures.

- Glowing armors will no longer turn white when moving out of
range.

- One call script that adds all armors to your inventory at the
same time.

- Numerous bug fixes and improvements.

==v2.1 (08.28.2010)==

- Fixed material types. Stats were displaying incorrectly.
They now reflect those of Volcanic Aurum.

- Removed the "Armor Replacers" folder from the "No Override"
version, as they only work with the "Override" version.

==v2.0 (08.24.2010)==

- Too much to list. Highlights include:

- Completely redrawn tint masks. They are now as detailed as is
possible. There is no more ugly color bleed on any of the
textures.

- Two-tone helmets. Certain parts of the helmets are now
colored the same as the engraving and embroidery on the
armor.

- Four new tints. Three of which are available in the form of
new custom armors. You may obtain them using the in-game
console.

==v1.2 (08.19.2010)==

-Texture tweaks. I've evened out the brightness and colors of
the templar armor, helmets, and heavy plate gloves (massive
gloves variant A) to provide a more uniform look among parts.
This means that all matching parts should now be exactly the
same color.

-Tint masks cleaned up a bit to better match the original
textures.

-The specular mask for all heavy plate gloves has been
changed. This reduces the "plastic wrap" look that was often
an eyesore when equipped with armor of the same material.

-Separated the mod into FULL and LITE versions to accomodate
individual tastes.

-Split into HIGH and LOW RES versions.

-Replaced the vanilla "Templar" material tint with my own
variation. Also, all armor that uses this tint now has the
stats of dragonbone armor. Previously, the Templar material
had no stats.

-General modifications and tweaks to data files. Compatibility
with other mods is increased.

==v1.1 (08.17.2010)==

-Mask for skirt and other cloth parts has been redone to
show more realistic contrast between light and dark.

-Armor replacer now correctly modifies armor to remove the
boots model. This solves clipping from equipped boots.

-You may now use replacers in any combination.

**Note: Custom armor will still have to be switched to "Armor,
Massive - No Boots" to display correctly.**

Known Issues
=============================

==09.04.2010==

- May conflict with some other mods that override the stock
templar armor. Otherwise, none that I know of! Let me know if
you run into any. I can only test so many scenarios on my own.

=============================
Installing
=============================

-Uninstall any previous versions.

-UnRAR the archive into a new folder

-Copy the "\templar_tints_v2_2\" folder into your
"C:\...\My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\
override\"directory.

(optional)

-Copy the appropriate armor/helmet replacers into the "C:\...\
templar_tints_v2_2\" directory.

==Armor Replacers==

-"A" = heavy plate
-"B" = Chevalier (Cailan)
-"C" = Commander (Loghain)
-"D" = Effort
-"E" = Juggernaut

==Helmet Replacers==

-"1" = Soldier's heavy helm

=============================

your "\override\" directory.
