This mod adds a Death Knight Specialization to warriors. You get 12 new talents, 4 in each of the disciplines of Blood, Frost and Unholy.

Description:

This mod adds a Death Knight Specialization to warriors.
You get 12 new talents, 4 in each of the disciplines of Blood, Frost and Unholy.

Last of the Warders achievement unlocks this specialization.


Compatibility

The new release should work fine with all mods. It no longer uses any core scripts or includes.

Character Respecialization will not give back any points spent in Death Knight talents.

Put the file in your C:\Users\...\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder.
How to use:
While in game, target your Death Knight, open the console and write "runscript dk_respec" without the quotation marks.
All Death Knight talents will be removed and you will get back all points spent in these talents.
No other abilities will be affected.

v1.1:

All VFX can now be removed through 2das.
All activated talents now scale according to (Weapon Damage * factor) for 2-handed and (Weapon Damage * 1.5 * factor) for dual wielding. They perform a physical resistance check vs the attacker's strength attribute. This so that they will work more like other warrior talents.
Winter's Might: Is now ranged. Weapon restriction removed. Threat should now work properly.
Ice Shards: Now generates a moderate amount of threat.
Icy Thoughts: Now generates a moderate amount of threat when enemies enter the aura.
Blood Corruptor: Friendly fire reduced by 50%.
Outbreak: Increased aoe damage.

My first serious attempt at a "real" mod, as I'm a newbie :) And as a newb I would appreciate if you let me know about any issues you encounter.


New Talents:


Blood

Death Strike, Activate

This powerful strike will leech the enemies life into your body, healing you for 50% of damage done. If the target is affected by coagulate it will always be a critical strike.

Coagulation, Activated

Causes your foe's blood to coagulate, hindering the flow of oxygen, stunning it for a moderate amount of time.

Blood Presence, Sustained

Causes nearby enemies' blood to boil; damaging them for as long as the skill is sustained. Damage depends on your strength and the distance between you and the enemy. While active, you gain 10% melee critical rating for 10 seconds after using a blood skill.
This mode drains stamina.

Blood Corruptor, Activated

Forces a portion of your own corrupted blood into your enemy, causing it to erupt in a violent explosion, doing damage to the target and everyone nearby equal to 50% of your total health pool, 25% to allies. You will lose 50% of your own total health pool on use and all of your stamina. Friendly fire possible, possible to die from use.


Frost

Winter's Might, Activated

Smashes your enemy with the might of Winter itself, dealing damage based on strength and freezing the target solid for a short amount of time. Generates a high amount of threat.

Ice Shards, Activated

A storm breaks out, focusing your target with freezing winds and shards of ice, dealing frost damage over a moderate amount of time. Generates a moderate amount of threat.

Icy Thoughts, Sustained

While active; your body emanates a deep chill, slowing nearby enemies' run speed. Also increases damage of Winter's Might and Ice Shards. Generates a moderate amount of threat.

Heart of Ice, Passive

Through training and experience you have mastered all aspects of coldbased attacks. Improves all of your Frost abilities as well as giving you a large bonus to cold resistance.

Winter's Might now also deals area of effect frost damage in a radius around the caster while in Icy Thoughts.
Ice Shards now deals double damage and double threat if applied to a frozen target while in Icy Thoughts.
Icy Thoughts now also grants a bonus to armor. Increases with strength.


Unholy

Infect, Activated

Your unholy powers forces a rotting disease upon your target, applying a damage over time effect.

Outbreak, Activated

Causes an infection to run its final course, erupting in boils and gangrene, pushing the target to the ground from the sudden pain.

Unholy Furor, Sustained

While active, increases your run and attack speed as well as the damage of Infect and Outbreak but applies a penalty to stamina regeneration.

Master of Evil, Passive

You have come of age as a Death Knight, achieving perfection in the ways of your class.
Improves all of your Unholy abilities and grants you a large bonus to nature resistance.

Infect now deals extra damage while in Unholy Furor.
Outbreak now also causes a lesser infection to spread to nearby enemies while in Unholy Furor.
Unholy Furor now has a lower stamina regeneration penalty.
