This is a snapshot of a small cutscene I'm working on turning into a mod for players who romance Alistair. If you're interested, see the whole scene here:
Just another suggestion: Do you know the great video of Talagen on YouTube: Dragon Age Origins: Dreamscape?

There is used the mod Alistairs Funeral by Kianta but with changed roles, which means the dead hero is the female warden and Alistair is mourning. The scene is playing into the throne room of the Royal Palace at Denerim. In addition, the warden is wearing a black velvet dress, I guess some beautiful creation of RogueLass, and the bridal crown by boodrl and Gabriel08 being part of RogueLass Warden's Trading Post:

Alistair's death bride and queen is shown at 4:22:
You would need the permission of the author's of these mods, of course.
The black dress and the crown are looking very dramatic and grave. Just an idea, of course...
I didn't know that video! I think, for a one second nightmare flash, it might be a bit overkill (pardon the pun). I'm just starting out learning how to script and that would mean extra checks if Alistair is King and Warden was going to be Queen.
The whole process of making that cutscene has made me think about funeral logistics in Ferelden quite a lot. Have talked about that with Kajana. Would be "nice" to have customized funerals for the different Warden origins. And those clothes would indeed be perfect for a Queen Warden.
I've been thinking so much about this topic for the last week or so that I'm starting to feel like an undertaker, lol!
Oh, yes. I see. Personally, I always play the warden queen. For that reason I immediately got this picture in my mind, when I watched your scene. But actually, there are so many possibilities with other constellations, of course. I could imagine - in case you will make customized versions - black armours or suits etc. for other wardens, or even a black dress without crown. I know, that it's a very short part of your scene. So it may be to big effort. Concerning Kajana: I love that pose in her new mod, when Alistair is holding the dead warden in his arms. Maybe she would permit, that you use an image like that.
The Sacrifice Mod is a masterpiece. The way her head lolls back limply when he picks her up and her hand falls down... Can't get more heartbreaking than that. Concerning using that image - I know the flashes are short, so you might not see it, but they are in fact animated scenes that are all part of the same consecutive cutscene. I could use the same animations as Kajana, but I spent a long time experimenting with a limp Warden in Alistair's arms while he's standing, so I ended up using that one. I can put up a picture of that just for you
When (and if) the time comes when I sit down to make more funerals, I'd love to have you on board!
Oh, thank you! What an honour! Actually, I find the funeral scenes so sad. For that reason I always let him do the dark ritual. The advantage of your scene is, that both can still survive afterwards.
It'd be a great idea if the cutscene triggered AFTER the warden talked to Morrigan. And the heartbeat sound effect near the end of the video turns into door knocking sound as the warden came to talk with him about the ritual.
Interesting *strokes chin thoughtfully* Very interesting... that idea goes in my notebook I'm a modding virgin so currently stuck trying to figure out how to work the black magic to turn this into a playable mod, so bear with me
Thank you so much! Believe me, it was a tight race between the hairstyle she ended up with and one of your NewSea side ponytails... Definitely spent more time trying to decide between those two than I spent figuring out who to back as new king of Orzammar... Shame you only have one head lol
Was thinking of triggering it when you leave Riordan's room after the "how to slay the Archdemon" conversation. Before you go talk to Morrigan. As if the whole situation didn't have enough angst in it already hehe Thank you for watching!

What do you think about?

But it is just my idea.
