Seeing Sir Gilmore at the keep bringing her dog, who is now a father brought some reality to Praline's world. She of course can see and kill darkspawn but something seems missing, a void in the situation. Roland regaled Praline on some stories of when he went home and when he went to highever after she left. He was not the same person she left at the castle, and neither was she.
