I was modding my own game and adding some jewelry icons for some personal stuff.. and then I was like.. well maybe I should do this for everything? So now I am. It's gonna be a few days, but I've already worked my way through a few of them.
The goal is to add unique icons for all Rings, Amulets, and Belts, and I want them to be a step above the way vanilla is done, more in line with DLC.
I am basing the icons, when possible, on their in game descriptions. This isn't always possible, since a description isn't always descriptive enough, but I'm doing my best. I am pretty happy with Dreamsever, and its description isn't very forthcoming.
This is Dreamsever. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.Crafted during the third Blight, this ring projects an antipodal application of Fade energies that can disrupt or outright destroy.
I used this description to try to create the look of two energies colliding in a gem. The green background is supposed to denote the Fade.

I am doing at least 4 each day, and if I feel like more, I will.
I only got 4 done today, but they were more time consuming than normal. One I am not happy with and need to alter some tomorrow.
My first one tomorrow is Morrigan's Ring, it will be quite challenging.
And second MrFlipFlops in that love that basing them off in game descriptions. Love that kind of stuff!
