This will gives you the most grim, brutal and the Real Darkness back to the game. Now every single place in Drangleic now covered with eternal night. It is always recommend to use torch when using this mod. (Sorry about my English, I'm not a native speaker though.)
這個mod將會帶來最壓抑，殘酷以及真實的黑暗。 現在多蘭古雷葛群島的每一處地方將會被籠罩在永久的黑夜中。推薦全程遊玩使用火把。
If you feels too dark in some areas. You can simply adjust your in-game brightness to default level or to the highest level. Be remind always watch your surroundings.
FAQ:
1. Q: What does this mod do?
A: As you know, torches are useless in actual gameplay. What I'm doing is to create a dark, high-pressure environment that need to use torches all the time (As we saw the knight with torches explore all around in the earliest CG trailer).
2. Q: Do I gonna suffer high fps drops?
A: I'm using this on my laptop (GTX 780m sli), so i cannot give you an accurate answer for this since my graphic card are the best card now on laptops.
3. Q: This is so dark and it's unplayable!
A: Well, to be honest, all my screenshots were captured in NG+. So I have no problem playing the game with this mod.
4. Q: I'm running out of torches! It's so dark! I died too many times！
A: Well, there's always places can farm torches. And I will constantly be online and help folk to beat the bosses. If you are lucky and found me during the game-play. I can help with it.
5. Q: Can I edit your files?
A: Oh sure! Just credit me and the people in the credit section.
6. Q: The game seems to become harder than I thought.
A: Well I would like to give you This is Dark Souls-Trophy, for playing the game with is mod ( terrible view distance, eh?)
7. Q: WTF! There are black bars?!
A: Black bars are suppose to give you a cinematic looking. If you don't like it, you can use the alternate version included inside the mod file.
Install: Download the mod from file section and copy everything to your game file.
I strongly recommend everyone who are trying to use mod beat the game once before using it. Cause now you will not be able to see anything without a torch. So brace yourself.
